So after reading all the reviews, I decided to make the purchase to to see for myself. First off, I am 5'6" and 170lbs. I wear smalls in all pants bc I like my pants fitted. Anyhow, I ended up buying the SIZE 30 because the pants had stretch. The Outdoor Windproof Waterproof Hiking pants is EXACTLY what it said to be. I poured water on it and the water just sat as a puddle until I wiped it off. The lining is micro-fleece (I think) so exactly what I was looking for. The fit is slim, not tight like a "jogger" but perfect for hiking and walking. The waist fits like snow pants because there is elastic at the back side, which gives a lot more room if needed. I personally think that it stretches out to be at least a 33 inch waist. The inseam measures about 28.5 inches which was perfect for me. It came with a brown belt, that is not that great, but a nice bonus.Overall, GREAT pants for 33 bucks!!! I was looking at some at REI that started at $60 and up to 160. Buy these if you want a great deal for a great product.

I needed warm pants for my trip to Iceland, and these worked perfectly. Loved the zipper pockets and elastic waist. I wore a belt with them, and they moved well during hiking and climbing up snow covered volcanos. I bought 2 pair, and I am very happy with them.

I have nothing bad to say about these at all. Got a size 30 and they fit perfectly. No belt NEEDED, but it's also just fine with a belt as well. They have just a little bit of elastic around the waist to keep them from sliding down and I don't know why every pair of pants don't have this. They're definitely waterproof to a point, but if you're in constant rain or done sort of water splashing then they'll get a little damp. But they're advertised as mainly ski pants anyways. They're EXTREMELY comfortable and veryyyy warm with the inner fleece lining, but if it's like 70deg and sunny outside they don't overheat. Which is awesome because they can be worn for 3 out of 4 seasons (I'm in Texas). Loved them so much after many many washes, that I got my boss to buy me 2 more pairs and himself a couple pairs. We're both fairly lean so I can't comment on how it would fit a bigger guy, but I'd recommend taking that risk.

The quality is great and the fit in the waist is excellent. However, they are not designed for tall men. Perfect for men 5'10 or shorter. Consider the importance of length if you're on the taller side

I ordered these pants for use skiing and other active cold weather pursuits. However, the upper legs are very tight, and even with some stretch, they are simply too tight for active use. Also, as another reviewer pointed out, there is an odd bunching in the crotch. If you have skinny legs, these may be the pants for you, but not if you have any musculature.

Great pair of winter pants. The fleece feels great and keeps your legs VERY warm. The width and length are as described. They are waterproof and sold at a great price. I bought a pair in army green for hiking. I liked them so much I ordered another pair this time in grey. The photos made the color appear they were blue/grey but in fact, they are more of a green/grey I mentioned this only because the army green and grey are a little too close in color. So I ended up returning the army green because I am sure I would wear the greyivh more often. Anyway, I would highly recommend them.

okay, I had originally given these pants a one star bad review, I was obviously sent the wrong size pants, was not happy and eventually gave them away but out of nowhere and without me writing back to the seller came another pair of pants which I must say it’s what I expected from the beginning, these pants are very nice and comfortable, I wore them all day in 40° weather with cold wind and kept me warm and toasty, they are well built and stylish, a bargain for these price, I’m only giving 4 stars because I need to tried them on a rainy day, glad the seller made up for it, I still don’t know how they go about the sizing, they come from China with Chinese labels but I’m usually between 35-36, I ordered a size 35 and fit well, could fit into a 34 because they are stretchy, definitely worth the price, yes I would recommend these pants....

Pants seem to be made for a skinny legged man—they are tight in the thigh upon initial try-on. I don’t think I could fit any substantial layer underneath. Hopefully long underwear, but it’s going to be more tight and restrict movement while hiking.Fits well in hips and the rear end, but actual waist is loose and requires a belt.

these are lined but not insulated.... stink like petrolium products when unpacked... -40c happens here... lining glued to the inside of the pants does not equal insulated..... also why is the belt that was included 2 inches shorter than the waste band of the pant.... Who does that

Perfect fit, I bought these with the intention of using them on the motorbike to keep the winter chill out. Tested them as soon as they were delivered and was not disappointed.I intentionally only wore a T-shirt under my jacket as I'd feel the cold wind through that. I didn't feel a thing on my legs.High quality pants and a true to size fit.

I've been wearing these while cross-country skiing and working outdoors. I'd say they're probably fine to wear without a base layer down to -10/15 C or so. Stretchy, so sizing down works - I normally wear a 32" waist and ordered the 30" and they're quite comfortable.

Quality is excellent. The fitting is precisely as described. Very comfortable and the exceptional material greatly enhances the comfort in bending, leaning, etc.
