Michel Design WorksInto The Woods Foaming Hand Soap, 17.8 oz

These are good soaps. Easy pumps. VERY pretty bottles. And it lasts a good while and feels good on your hands. But I take SERIOUS issue with Michel Design Works' naming scheme. Take this one, for instance. Into the Woods -- "An invigorating aroma of Green leaves and forest Ferns." No. This smells like flowers. Winter Woods... smells even more strongly of flowers (lilacs). Spruce, another popular scent... smells like flowers. Scents they could have used for a more woodsy feel: redcedar (aromatic cedar), actual spruce, fir, pine, actual cedar, birch, etc, etc, etc. Actual trees, apparently, have no place in Michel's concept of woodlands.Look... I get it. People love floral scents for their soaps. But just NAME the things after something related to the scents you're using. I've been singularly disappointed with every single Michel's soap scent I've tried -- not because they're bad, necessarily (although one was ghastly), but because the scent profiles have ZERO to do with the name. Don't expect this soap to smell like woods, or trees, or woodlands, or forests. Don't expect ANY of them to smell that way. Expect this to smell like flowers, like every other scent they have, and you won't be disappointed.

Love the woodsy fragrance and the foam dispenser works well. The design of the bottle is so decorative.

I have purchased many of the Michel foaming Shea butter (and aloe) hand soaps over the last 2 years. Fragrances are all light, airy, natural and never sickly sweet.The hand soap lasts incredibly long! I’ve always favored foaming soaps because they require less per wash and are easily and immediately disbursed over the skin surface. There simply is no down side to the Michel Design products! Buy for gift giving, and remember to buy for yourself too!

Hey....this is funny. My soap arrived today (February 16) and with this weather we are having, it is frozen solid. Completely not the seller's fault - GOD gave us the weather. I am sure it will not be good to use even when thawed out and the bottle was cracked so I just threw it in the trash. I will re-order when the weather gets warmer - never thought it would be like this when my order of something liquid was delivered.

I have purchased several soap products of this same brand. I love the scent of the "Into the Woods" soap. But the other foaming soaps I received had a small attachment inside the bottle at the end of the pump tube that is a sort of aerator. It has little holes in it that increased the foaming volume. This time the product did not come with that. Subsequently it is not pumping correctly. Just kind of dripping out soap that is running down the side of the bottle. As much as I love this product, if it doesn't pump correctly it is grossly less effective.ADD: After purchasing several soaps that are this brand, I am really frustrated with the bottles. All of mine have to have the pump nozzle faced to the right to work. None of them work with pump pointed in the correct position facing forward. My mother has some of these, all of which work in the proper position. Really awkward and a pain having these all facing with the front turned to the left side to adequately reach pump. I would remove some stars for this. I do not recommend at this time. I have no idea why my mother's work. Hers were purchased from a different seller. ?
