These are perfect they are reading very accurately and after 3 months my plants are doing much better. Great for someone who is "bad at watering plants"

The meter is great for a year, and then it needs a refill. Not wanting to add more plastic to the earth, I bought the refills, which are difficult to work with. They are returnable, but still. The meter works great for any plant except the ones like cacti and succulents that need to be dry for a long time. These saved many of my other plants from overwatering (or under watering), helping me succeed with fussier plants. After a year, though, the indicator can stay blue even when the pms t is dry, so keep an eye out for the need for a refill. I had to take a skinny file and file the inside of one of my meters in order to insert the flimsy refills. I refuse to buy more plastic, but that refill experience is inspiring me to make my own meters with water sensitive paper.

Like others have mentioned it’s not as fool proof as you would expect for the cost. I have over 50 tropical plants and a few that I just can’t seem to regulate watering. I always use a moisture meter but hoped this would save me constantly probing risking hitting developing roots. Worked well the first water (as shown) but several show blue but the soil is dry. Another shows white but the soil is still moist and I have not had them anywhere near the 6-9 month mark. I guess it’s $30 wasted but I’ve spent more on sillier things for my plants that didn’t work well.Enter at your own risk

I really wanted to like these and they seemed to work at first, but when I left a few out on the table after wetting them, they stayed blue for several days. This is with nothing moist around them, laying on a hot dry tabletop. I’m not confident they would indicate when my plants are dry if they still show wet after days of laying in the sun.

I put the meter in a newly watered plant. The blue lines are very thin and hard to see, even after being in the pot for over 12 hours.

These aquameters are super easy to use. Stick it in the dirt (to the depth between the arrows) and water the plant when it's white. I'm not great with plants, but most of them are now still alive thanks to these.

Was skeptical at first but once I received it, I found it was easy to use and it compliments the plant. Not obstructive. It just blends in. I'll see in the long run how it lasts but I like the entire concept of itWell I have to add another review about the Sustee. I've had it in use now for awhile and it has indeed turned white as it's supposed to but I wanted to have a second opinion. I waited a few days after it turned back to white and I inserted a regular moisture meter and it read very moist indicating that the plant did not need watering. HmmmmmmmmSome food for thought here.

Meine Pflanzen sehen besser aus, als je zuvor. Interessant zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich der Wasserbedarf ist und wie falsch meine Einschätzung wohl oft war. Die Monstera ist, seit ich den Gießanzeiger nutze, richtig gewachsen.

Avendo una passione per le piante e visto che ho piante tropicali rare da trovare per non rischiare ne ho comprate 5xprova testata oggi su una per ora tutto perfetto, indica se ha bisogno di acqua e quando no.I Giapponesi hanno sempre da insegnare😃

Most practical as it takes away any guess work, especially if you have to leave your plants for others to take care of.Fool Proof!!!
