After years of a hot garage in the Florida summertime, I wanted to see if this would vent out some of the hot air. I located one each toward the opposite ends of the STEEL panel after installing insect screen between the vent and the door. I had to grind off the inside of the vent for a flat fit against the door. For winter, I also bought flat magnetic sheets and trimmed them to fit around the interior bolt and nuts. That too, works great, but ONLY on a STEEL door. others are not magnetic. I considered adding 2 lower vents too, but these work quite well.
