I purchased this volume because these pistols are a blank spot in my education. i cannot comment on the accuracy of the text. This review is simply to acknowledge the excellent presentation of this volume. The text is dense, there is no filler or wide margins. The photographs are excellent and on point, mostly matching the text. There are two cutaway views, one of a PP and one of a P38. Both have their own page and are not splayed across two pages which ruins the detail. (This is a pet peeve of mine, putting a map or cutaway over two pages with the annoying crease in the middle.) There are also two abbreviated manual of arms, of a P38 and a PP Super each on a whole page. A well done volume: I wish Osprey would do more like this.
