Worth trying despite bad reviews
Writing this as I nurse my newborn. I got the vanilla cookie protein powder. The taste is greaaat! I needed something sweet to curb my cravings/hunger. I definitely think mixing this with cow’s milk was gross. I mixed it with water and the taste was so much better. The texture is a little chalky but most protein powders are and I think this powder is definitely worth trying! I love that I can nurse my baby and know I’m fueling us with clean ingredients! I am constantly hungry and I definitely think this has helped so much! Especially through nighttime feeds!! There’s a lot of bad reviews but when you weigh the benefits of this powder vs other unsafe options out there, I think it is worth it. I will update in a few days to let you know if it increases my milk supply!

Best, second best and worst flavors
The best flavor is vanilla cookie, so sweet, makes a great treat to replace desserts. The second best is the coffee caramel, the coffee flavor does really come out, makes it good for a morning meal replacement. The worst flavor is the chocolate bliss. I don’t know why… but the grittiness of the powder is SUPER strong… don’t buy the chocolate bliss.

Good for maintaining milk supply. Bad taste and texture.
Boobie Body protein shakes have been good for maintaining my milk supply. I drink one everyday. I normally get the Chocolate Bliss flavor, but Amazon ran out and ordering it from their site would take too long so I ordered the Vanilla Chai to try. I still ordered the Chocolate Bliss flavor on their site because it’s my favorite. When I read the review for this flavor I thought everyone was exaggerating about the grainy texture, but they aren’t. Compared to the Chocolate bliss, Ancient Nutrition bone broth protein powder, and Amazing Grass plant protein- the Boobie Body Vanilla Chai protein powder is very grainy. The flavor of chai is very mild, but the after taste of the cinnamon additive is strong. I’m not sure if it’s artificial flavoring in their compound, but it tastes like a big red or hot tamale candy lingering in my mouth. To make it digestible, since I’m stuck with this tub now, I add: banana, frozen fruit, and chia seeds. I normally add a banana and chia seeds anyways but the added frozen fruit chunks help mask the texture even more. I won’t be buying this flavor again, and am hesitant to try anything other than the chocolate bliss. I highly recommend this brand, but not this flavor.

Chucky taste texture.
I haven’t noticed it helped my milk supply very much. It’s got a chalky taste to it. The taste is good. It’s just the chalky texture that I didn’t care for.

So far it works!!
Like other reviews have said ,it is gritty and the flavor could be better, but it is bearable. Mixed fine with just water. Use a clear container so you don’t miss any clumps. It is expensive but for what you are getting Its worth it. I drink 2 scoops a day, morning and night. Has increased and/or at least maintained my milk supply. I love that it’s organic/vegan. Oh and yes when you open it, it does look half empty but only because it settles to the bottom after being packaged. I counted my scoops and you do get the servings they state are in there, 20 I think. I would like to try the vanilla chai but it’s not on amazon yet. I have only tried the chocolate flavor, haven’t tried the Carmel only bc its more expensive and I can barely afford the almost $50. My suggestion is try it at least once you may like it, I’m glad I did and didn’t let the negative reviews sway me. I am allergic to dairy so the other protein mix out there with whey in it isnt an option, plus they have way too much sugar. For whoever needs to hear this don’t give up if it’s getting hard for you to continue breastfeeding or your supply is decreasing, keep trying if you can, your baby will benefit from it beyond measure. I know it’s a sacrifice wether you are a stay at home mom or working mom pumping at work. God bless you for trying to give your baby the best start and not giving up when it gets hard. I know it’s easier to stop breastfeeding but it’s soooooo good for your baby. It’s only for a short time moms, we can do this. Our babies are worth it!

Great protein powder and helps supply
Great product and flavor. I mix it with 8oz of regular water and down it in the morning. A lot of the reviews complain about the texture tell me these ladies have never used protein powders for working out before lol. Protein powder is, to a degree, always going to be a little gritty. Shake it up and drink it down; it’s not a cocktail! Overall decent taste to mask the protein flavor and it has helped me with my daily protein intake to boost my supply (instead of taking lactate ion supplement pills). My stomach handles it well with NO gassy side effects. I’ll definitely be reordering.

Taste is bland and hard to mix also needs drank fast as it settles after sitting
Got this after doing some research for milk supply boost and just a meal alternative as a mom of two it’s sometimes hard to get a meal in. Not a big fan of chocolate but the reviews for it over the cookie one took my vote. It definitely tastes different, don’t want to say chalky or gritty but you can tell it’s a protein drink. I used almond milk to mix with and to use a whole scoop with just 6-8oz of your liquid of choice….I had to use more milk to make it thinner and tolerable honestly. It didn’t mix well and I mixed it for a long time with a frother and had to use a spoon to get what was stuck to the bottom off. Need to drink it fast or have a spoon in it to keep mixing as it settles. Not sure if I will use it in a smoothie as it’s chocolate or what else to put in it to make it better but I’m gonna use it as I paid good money for it. Will probably drink it every few days as it’s just not something I crave but a semi easy thing to make. To each their own and everyone has a different palate but it was not for me.

Disgusting but it does the job
I got the coffee caramel. The taste is absolutely disgusting but it keeps me satisfied so it works. My baby has allergic colitis so I can't really eat anything so I got this meal replacement instead 🥲
