I bought this watch for my son, and he said it's great. Had it about a week now and it's keeping time. He wears it all the time so no need to wind it up.

Great looking watch and a bargain price. This is a self wind watch, through wrist movement, there is no battery.

Overall a very nicely thought out design at this price point, love the hands and big digits. The small red digits though are virtually unreadable, and the date window is too small and too far set back - unreadable in gloomy conditions. The rendered images make this look better than it is. The indicators on the dial have no loom, but the hands do. If you have a smallish wrist you will want to replace the strap - a decent nylon strap, but rather long and with loops in a fixed position; on my wrist 1.5 inches of strap were sticking out. The power reserve is a bit flimsy - mine lost power a couple of times; I recommend to do some handwinds on first use.
