A Spectacular Addition to The NFS Series!!
First off I have completed 100% of both the NDS and Wii versions of this game. I still play them a lot, and I want more! Need for Speed Nitro has got to be the freshest, most original car racing game I've ever played on the Wii. GET THIS GAME AND GET IT NEW! Here is why:GRAPHICS & PRESENTATION The menus and screens are finely designed and easy to navigate. There are 30 cars, fortunately they're all pretty awesome. Plenty different missions, all fun, good times there. The style of the cars and the graphics they're rendered in are nothing short of spectacular! The design of the cars is a very attractive, fresh and original one that goes perfectly with the fun world you'll race in. The levels are gorgeous and while, racing everything just looks amazing! Car customization is crazy good, hand paint your car how you like and choose from many awesome car body parts even tweaking those to your liking. The decals, tags and graffiti designs are cool and watching them cover the cities you race in is very gratifying.SOUND The music and sounds really pull you in! Some songs aren't too hot while most are pretty sweet. Options allow one to edit the play list which I think is awesome. Racing and engine sounds are great, even more so when using the nitro. Like many other elements the sounds also work great with everything else.GAMEPLAY For racing this really makes or breaks the game, fortunately it makes it! What's awesome is how they made the game compatible with all kinds of controllers including the GameCube controller. The controls and gameplay are smooth, easy to pick up and natural! Racing like a pro is accessible, in a good way and winning the harder races will require a good amount of logic and focus, and while some races might be easy the gameplay really keeps the fun alive! Pick-ups on the track add a fun twist and they're balanced well so there aren't too many. Have fun, lead the race and watch your graffiti cover the world. There's no open world exploring but I still had more fun here than any other NFS game to date.CONCLUSION If you've got any interest in racing cars then get this NOW! I got it new to support this awesomeness but that's just me. I am quite anxious for a sequel, it will rock. This is an AMAZING arcade racer that needs a sequel, now if you're looking for a Gran Turismo experience then.. no, but if you want a really cool, unique fresh take on racing what are you waiting for? DO IT!

One of the best racing games ever.
It was just about three (3) months ago when I saw need for speed shift on a friend of mine ps3, I loved the graphics but it was lacking in game play, to me there was no fun in this game. I had always wanted a need for speed for my wii console but I was not too sure of what need for speed to buy, any way I say a commercial on tv one day so I decided to take the chance and buy a copy of need for speed nitro. When I got the game and played it, I just could not believe what I was seeing; speed, action and fun put into one game. EA two (2) thumbs up, it's a great game; after playing this game it makes marrio cart wii looks as if the cart races are creaping, as I said and I will say it again great game. Keep it up EA and keep making more games like this.

Race To The Finish Line
When it has came down to racing games for the Nintendo Wii, there have been really few and far between that have been truly worth their effort. That has been the case well with Mario Kart Wii, which stood heads above the packs to the finish line. Others such as oddball games like Excitebots that have really brought out the weird to the front of the pack that have been really goofy surprises. But there have been racing games that have had ups and downs that haven't been worth the money in many ways. Need For Speed has had a lot of mixed bags for the Nintendo Wii, with some games needing more improvement then they were worth like Need For Speed: Carbon, and others that have been more for the money they were promised like Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. But there have been few and far between games that have been mostly worth the while. Need For Speed: Undercover has been one of those few, as would be bringing in the glory that Need For Speed: Most Wanted showed from the Gamecube era.But there have been few standouts that are worth the while.Need For Speed: Nitro is one of the better Nintendo Wii games that shows it fairly well. The game has you racing your way to the checkered flag, as you try to outrun your rivals as you race in cars from classics like the Toyota Corolla, to fierce and hefty Hummers. You race through 3 different cups in cities like Dubai, Singapore, and and others. Graphically, the game stands out well, while the control is well-played in the Gamecube controller and the Wii Classic Controller. The gameplay with the Wii-mote and Wii Wheel could've used a bit of improvement, and handles in you getting into more accidents, and losing easily. The Wii-mote & Nunchuck controller works nicely though. You get to race in a variety of cars that get more thrilling in the chase, as you race to higher levels of the game. The sound in the game is not at its best, but better than the lackluster games before. There also could've been improvements in multiplayer as well, that you can only play against others at home, not racing to the top of the leaderboard online, which is missing here. There also could've been more challenges here from the police like there were in Undercover to add into the fun of the game, but it stays to the core for fun.Overall, I did find Need For Speed: Nitro to have a bit more of the fun, than the lack of games that have been racing worth its money for the Nintendo Wii. While there honestly could've been much more for its money here, to make it more of a must buy for both the Wii & the Wii U, it holds up better than past Need For Speed titles. I liked the game for its value, but there still could've been more than just sprints and drag races to make it stand out taller. But, this would be a nice starter game for anyone that has never experienced the Need For Speed games, but for hard core more could've been added to make it a fiercer finish.Graphics: BSound: C+Control: C for Wii Wheel; B- for Wii-mote & nunchuck; B for Classic Controller & B 1/2+ for Gamecube COntrollerFun & Enjoyment: B- for solo play; C+ for multiplayerOverall: B-

Super Fun to play!
This doesn't play like a regular racing game, it is very very arcade style rather than any type of simulation, however the game play and challenges you have a very fun to play. You earn cars by getting stars and money. I had to put this game down b/c it was taking up a lot of my time and it got really hard all of a sudden half way though the Silver Cup, so I'm taking a break, but I'll be sure to pick it up again at some point and enjoy it as much as the first time and all the other times I played it!

Muy entretenido.
Es muy arcade pero tiene mucho reto y se puede poner muy retador. Muy recomendado si quieren algo que de toma mucho menos enserio.

FUN
Solid game. You can turn steer assist OFF, for all who complained about that silly feature. Simple interfaces and challenging courses make boB a happy guy... Also, since I am used to the GameCube controller, the fact that it is compatible with this Wii game is a bonus! Nunchuck controls also good, just hard to get used to ...for me, anyway.
