Q: can i use this with a celular router like i do with my verizon um175 ?

If the router has a USB port, it should work but I haven't tried it. What I have done is plug it into a laptop and then turn on the laptops hotspot feature

Hello! Thank you for your question. The device has a connector for connecting an external antenna (amplifier), under the end cap.

Q: Can this actually be use as a mifi to share internet wirelessly the same way as Jetpack mifi device?

Not by itself. It needs the help of another router device like a GL-AR300M (Sold on Amazon elsewhere for about $40) that it plugs into. This is strictly a USB Modem unit that allows your laptop or PC to link up by itself.

I don't know how a battery will work, this is a USB plug-in device.
