AEM 28-50045 Dry Flow Air Filter, 1 Pack, Red

stock air filters are an easy change as is, the install took all of 10 seconds. The quality of the filter seems great (AEM is owned by K&N so no suprise) seems to flow well on my civic 2.0 6MT. went with this over the short ram due to simplicity of install. Air intake noise seems a slight bit better but maybe thats just me. No complaints.

THESE FILTER WORKS JUST LIKE THE K&N filter but better thank the other brands since they're Synthethic and red in color you can see all the dirt that get trapped in these and not to mention too they'e washable with spraying solution to clean them out and re use again most definitely something i like to keep in my cars using since i don't have to keep buying filters so often so to those that haven't tried, try it You'll thank me later, JUST keep in mind they're developed by the makers of K&N by the way

These kind of filters are much better than K&N being your have to install oil with the K&N filter and that is where all your problems will begin........The oil will clog up your map sensors and other electronics inside the breather system and start to make the vehicle run very rough..I can't tell the difference very much from the factory air filter other than the material this AEM one uses is much better than the Honda factory filter....As far as it breathing better I reallcan't tell a whole lot of difference however I will still give this 5 stars for it being made very well!

Installed in my 2019 2.0L civic that is already ktuned, but im not sure if its placebo? But on eco off and sport mode it pulls much more than usual? I cant tell if im just imagining it. Originally bought for MPG gains. Will await to see!

Had a k&N on my 2017 civic had problems with the car shaking due to the oil in the filter had to clean throttle body still not the same. Bought AEM for my 2021 civic sport no oil in filter better response and higher rpms no need to due aftermarket filter happy with performance.
