I ordered these because the reviews were pretty good, and for the quantity I figured it wasn’t a bad deal. I was wrong… very wrong. At first I thought it was a fluke and maybe just one pot was unstable. The first plant I attempted to pot I was simply holding the pot after watering the freshly potted plant and moving it to its new home and— the entire pot EXPLODES. Wet soil, shattered pot pieces, and my plant explode into oblivion… I stand there shocked for approximately 5 minutes because I was not sure exactly what had just happened. Since then I have attempted to pot 5 other plants— all with different methods— and still 3 out of 5 of them shattered or broke in some way just from simply potting a plant in them. WASTE OF MONEY AND MY TIME. To be honest I’ll stick with the dollar tree terra cotta pots they sell in a two pack FOR A DOLLAR. They are much sturdier and better quality than this BS. So annoying. If I could give it less than one star I would.

Not what I expected. Has made in China carved across the entire bottom. Cheaply made, breaks easily.. sounds like it's hollow inside not solid. I haven't even used them yet and they're already turning greenish. Not recommended for growing plants.. maybe arts and crafts or decorations instead.

These would be 5 stars, except so many of mine didn’t have their drainage hole. You could see where they had started it, but it wasn’t removed. Drainage is so important to me!

Packed perfectly with thick custom cut foam around the pots, and foam separators. Clay is smooth and a light terra cotta color.My only negative comment is about the inside bottom of these pots. When the clay was wet and drainage hole was made by pushing from the outside, the excess clay lumps were left inside the bottom of the pot during firing. Some lumps I could remove with my fingers, the others I will try to scrape off with a screwdriver. I want a smooth interior bottom surface, I use landscape fabric circle to allow drainage while keeping potting mix in place. I want the fabric to lay flat and not be torn by rough clay.

The pots arrived in perfect condition, in very sturdy foam packaging.Arrived early, about 4 days after ordering.Intend on using them for flowerpot bread, so were a good size.Disappointed to find on delivery they were made in China, not USA.Apart from that, all good.

I wish I could give packing 10 stars instead of just 5. Not only did these pots arrive in perfect condition but also had a piece of mesh included to cover the drainage hole.

I ordered 40 terra-cotta pots for my daughters Sweet 16 favors. They all arrived in perfect condition except one that was cracked on the bottom. I spray-painted them a cream colored which was very easy to do. I was so pleased with the packaging of the product and that they arrive the following day. Great product, great quality, great packaging. Super impressed and satisfied with his purchase.

I first bought the 2.5, but returned them for the 3". The 3" are much better deal. The pots are much larger/deeper. The quality of the clay is also better.My only disappointment, is that I was afterwards, I was at a multi-national big box store that has 3" pots for Fifty cents.I used all of my pots and need more. As nice as they are, I will not be buying anymore. I bought these because the dollar store will not be restocking them until spring. I actually like the thinner clay for my succulents.

First the good - cute, packed like nothing I’ve seen before - seriously not a broken one in the lot, unglazed, exactly what I was looking for.The only concern I have is the strong odour. I don’t know what happened with mine but they smell of some kind of solvent. I’m not sure I can use them.

The manufacturing quality of those is not that great, especially for the price: the drainage holes are all off-center with leftover dry clay around them, some pots have small cracks in the clay, and there are a chips/dimples on a few of the pots' rim. I will say though that the actual shipping packaging is superb; 0% chance of pots moving inside the parcel so you are guaranteed to get the pots in exactly the state they were shipped in with no breakage.

My daughter used some to make some cute crafts with her 3 year old and then gifted them. Would be great to start small plants and succulents. They arrived well packaged so there were none broken. I have lots of ideas for these little pots. Will definitely be ordering again.

I was hesitant to order these pots to begin with because they are easily breakable. The pots could use more wrapping to prevent this. Also the box was not marked as fragile and the delivery person threw it at my door. I ordered these as a work expense..
