I have looked in every hardware and big box store for outdoor timers with longer cords. My other ones had short little cords that couldn’t fit side by side into my outdoor outlets with other timers. This one was just what I was looking for and it’s great because it has 2 plugs.

Think it slowly loses the time. Set it up for my porch cafe lights. To turn on around 8:30pm and off at 2:00am. Seems to be on time for about a week. It's plugged in to a ceiling outlet so it is not easy for someone to mess with it. I have 5 stars because it works well otherwise and I can't say for sure if it's the time or per going out during a storm when I'm not home to know about it. Love in FL so it is hot and rains all the time. Have not had any issues even when it is wet out or brutally hot.

Great product, and lives up to it's description. I haven't had any trouble with it so far, but I guess we'll see how it fairs through the winter. I use it to turn on/off the heat lamp in my chicken coop and I've never had it malfunction and leave my hen's cold!! The cover that protects the actual timing mechanism is very well made and secure, I would assume it hasn't had water leak into it as it still works just fine! But I've never checked it after a heavy rain! Would buy again or recommend product!

4th one I've order

Its a bit large, and hard to hide. Cord a little too short. Had to enclose it in a box, because it couldn't handle the weather.

Looks good, but the timer loses 20 minutes each day. So if you're trying to get something to turn on and off at the same time each day, it will be off by over 2 hours by the end of the week. A timer that can't keep time isn't a good one. Also the manufacturer number is always busy.

Everything is great...except that time slips! "ON" at 10 AM becomes 11 AM in less than a week. For a few dollars more I purchased a similar but thicker replacement at Lowe's, where there's easy and immediate replacement even after a few months. Unlike a watch that doesn't run at all (but is correct twice a day), this timer is now merely a paper weight waiting for experimentation. I don't like it and, of course, do not recommend it, but lack the emotion associated with just one star.

This works well. I used it for outdoor Christmas lights with no problems at all. The timer was in my garage, protected from the elements, but it held up to the cold okay.
