Powerful charger to start car with dead battery. I like that its a manual charger. I have automatic chargers but I hate when you have a dead vehicle and you put the automatic charger on and it says battery has an internal problem and refuses to attempt to charge the battery. Often when the battery is dead the auto chargers will be confused into thinking there are bad cells or other issues. This manual charger will work on any battery and attempt to charge it and will also do a good job of starting the vehicle. Easy to use. Its timer operated so you don't overcharge at high charge rate. Its on wheels. Has extendable handle. Its relatively small and not overly heavy.

Unit works perfectly for the most part. It has a timer , that doesn't seem to work , but that doesn't bother me much. I would like to see larger clamps on this unit. The ones that come with this unit , just barely with finangling , over top of a battery terminal clamp. I've had no problem starting a twin battery diesel.When the batteries were dead with this unit. Or turned all the way down to 10 amp And allow it to Charge all day.

I'm so sick and tired of all these "Automatic" battery chargers, that refuse to recognize a dead or low voltage battery. My old Napa box finally died after about 25 years .. probably just a loose wire, but even the new Napa transformer box comes as a kit, with too much plastic. And I gotta admit, I had a bunch of different Schumacher's over the years, that have largely proven to be unsatisfactory for various reasons over the long term, so I was understandably skeptical about this offering. So I think that maybe Schumacher pulled an old-timey engineer out of retirement, and tasked him/her with designing a legacy design transformer box, for the 2020's. Kudos to whoever that was. So with the plethora of de-sulfurization videos online, I thought, what the hey, will this box work for that? Well, on the 200 amp boost setting, it puts out about 19.5 volts .. probably a bit more if you're not 200' from your mains. So far, it looks very promising. Unfiltered full-wave D.C. may be the ticket. In any event, I'm so impressed with this compact modern transformer box, that I bought a second one, for a second location. Open the box at the bottom, and the completely assembled unit will slip out, standing up, and did I mention completely assembled, ready to work! Five Stars!

I was able to restore a battery that I could not get to hold a charge. I have not found anything that I dislike yet. It's capable of a very fast charge. Also, if you're needing a jump start Hook it to your car, set it to jump and you can start your car immediately. It's very simple and easy to use. Just took up the positive A. Negative, you have a timer switch. You select the time that you would like for the unit to run and voila, you're done. The price was very appealing for the unit that I received. It was Priced, very well below what it was worth supervalue. I recommend getting you one today while supplies last. It's for the hobbies shop industrial, it can handle it off. Remember take one home today

If you have space to store this, like say a shed, or a garage - this is a perfect tool to have on hand. You're probably gonna need it someday, and it works as it's supposed to! It charged up my Cadillac's dead battery which I ccompletely ran down reprogramming the anti theft system. This is not one of the cheaper portable ones even though the price is quite reasonable, it's almost like the ones they use in professional garages but it's not really that heavy duty. I highly recommend this for the hobbyist, the enthusiast, or just someone wants to have the ability to charge up a dead battery. It's a lot better than the smaller ones that are sold commonly.

Item was damaged and not working when it arrived in Australia. Now they want me to pay for the shipping of $179 to send it BACK! I really just want what I ordered working?? Looks like I have lost a few hundred dollars???
