Clk500 fits
Fits my clk500 2005 apache helicopter. Fits better than my old gas cap so i think this will fix my check engine light. Will update this review in 2 weeks. For now i will enjoy flying my 2005 clk500, twin rotor, air turbo, jetski, titanium stern, aluminum frame, carbon fiber hood, upside-down roll bar, 50 cal turret-mounted, triple 16-inch turreted, BGM-109G ground launched cruise missile equipped, nuclear-powered, solar-powered, plutonium-powered, sonar-domed, AN/APG-69 radar-equipped, laser defense system installed, anti-aircraft, anti-ground, anti-ship, anti-submarine, anti-jehovah's-witness, anti-imcallingaboutyourcarsextendedwarranty, purple apache helicopter with 2 sunroofs.

Caused fuel system vapor containment system leak, several hundred dollars' worth of diagnostics.
This product replaced the original fuel cap on a 2013 E350 that had a broken tether cord. It looked to be of a decent quality product, and it fits, but, caused the "Check Engine" warning light to come on after 4 days of use. An OBDII diagnostic revealed that "P0455 diagnostic trouble code Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system Leak" to happen. That's several hundred dollars' worth of dealer diagnostics to find out that this cap is not quite airtight. Not recommended.

Replaced original cap which lost its seal-a-bility and caused fumes in the garage.

Identical to original gas cap
The gas cap on my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire needed replacing because the rubber gasket had disintegrated. I had to remove the old fastener prior to installation and that was a little harder than I expected since I had purchased a tool specifically for that purpose. Once the new cap was in place, I started the engine to be certain that it wouldn't trigger a warning light. This gas cap appeared identical to the original and it's perfect.

Excellent Value
Even though this is a replacement, you"d never know it"s not original. I purchased this after being quoted a price of double the amount at the local chain store.

Will not erase your car computer code
Your car still will tell you something is wrong ๐ It does close it I believe but your car computer will still give you the computer code
