The one I have doesn't work with my Father-In-Laws shower bench because it hangs over the side of the bathtub so there isn't room. Mother's was the type that fit inside the tub. This hook is super sturdy, easy to install, and hasn't shown any sign of damage or wear and tear since I got it! Heck, last year I fell down reaching to grab my cpap hose off of it. On my way down during the fall, I grabbed the hose on both sides to try to use the hook to slow my fall. I'll be darned, it worked! The hose broke, but the hook? That thing didn't even BUDGE.
