Top notch - no better device available.
I've put these in chronological order. It's ridiculous just how superior this device is compared to all the rest. For the impatient: Tomorrow marks FIFTEEN years since I installed this. My review remains an absolutely rock-solid five stars. --------- It's coming up on three and a half years since I purchased this. I installed it in the shower within a day or two of getting it. I've used it literally every single day since. Compared to all the other "fogless" mirrors I've gone through, and it is several, this 1) Has never fallen off the shower wall in the middle of the night, which invariably would make my wife and I wonder "What the heck was that? Did we have an earthquake?" 2) Has never fogged up. 3) Has not had to be replaced, due to one or both of 1) and 2). --------- Update June 2017: six and a half years now. One problem did crop up a year or two ago - the little 'ratchet' that holds it at whatever angle you set it at had apparently worn down, so when it was full of water, it would not stay in position, instead just tipping until it was all the way down. I emailed the company. They were aware of the problem, and sent a new ratchet mechanism, which you just pressed in place where the old one was. Perfect. No charge for the replacement part. And yeah, it's still stuck on the wall, has never come down in six and a half years. If you shave in the shower, and you don't buy this product.....you're a chump! None of the other mirrors comes close to the quality of this. This meets the requirements for a fogless mirror. --------- UPDATE December 2020: I purchased this on February 5, 2011. It is still in use, daily. For those who aren't good at math, like myself, that's two months shy of a DECADE. I never had a previous shower mirror last more than maybe a year before it went to hell. The mirror portion did eventually develop somewhat of a 'haze' - I think from minerals in our water drying on it after showers. For a decade. I used some 'lime-a-way' on it, and it removed most of it. I've read the review that whines about how hard it was to remove. Well sure, if you're a nomad, and want an easy to remove shower mirror, by all means, don't buy one that's essentially permanent. Otherwise, this is the best shower mirror that's ever been invented. Very early on, when I first started using it, the image was very distorted, almost to the point that it could take on any funhouse mirror in a deathmatch. However, after a week or two of red-hot water fills from the shower, it seemed to stabilize, and it has had an entirely normal mirror view ever since. When I purchased it, the cost was twenty-nine, ninety-five. Today, the price is twenty-nine, ninety-five. I definitely had spent more than this on the first five or six "fogless" mirrors that eventually failed. I wish I had discovered this back then. It is worth every single cent. --------- It's now August 2023. TWELVE years since I bought this. Still in use, every single day. Still has never fallen off the shower wall. Still has a clear mirror. Still fog-free. STILL twenty-nine, ninety-five to buy it. --------- February, 2026. FIFTEEN YEARS since initial installation. Still hanging on, still never fogging, still functioning as described, and better than ANY other shower mirror on the planet. But there is one change: Instead of being twenty-nine, ninety-five, it's only eighteen dollars now! I can only hope that my review has influenced many people to buy this, as the one shortcoming of a device that lasts forever is that...there are no repeat customers!!!

I waited 5-months to give this review!
I love shaving in the shower. I always do it that way, unless I am traveling. I have purchased several supposedly fog-free mirrors over the years. None of them worked! I have had the kind you hook-up to the shower head, which connects to the water supply and trickles water down the back of the mirror, which is supposed to keep it fog-free, and it was nothing but trash. I have had several you attach to the wall. Those kind worked for about a week and then started to fog up. I was so tired of having to take the hand held shower sprayer off the holder to wash the fog off the mirror. I would have to do that several times while shaving and it was annoying (not much comes close to how annoying it was to have fog on a fog-free mirror). I was also tired of having to clean the mirror to try and get all the water spots off of it, to no avail. About five months ago I had finally had it with buying cheap fog-free mirrors that did not work. I went onto Amazon.com to see if there were any truly fog-free mirrors available. They all were just like the ones I had used before, except for this one. I read all the great reviews on it and decided to give it a try. After having it for about a week, I got a message from the seller inviting me to post a review of the product on Amazon.com. I thought to myself, "No way. I have only had this for a week and based on my experience with these types of products, I am going to wait a long while before I post a review." Well, after that first week, I noticed the mirror was still working great. It has been about five months now and it is still working great! And for some reason, it does not accumulate annoying water spots like all the others did. I never thought I would find a truly fog-free mirror, but with this one I have. So, I decided it was time to post this review. Here are a few things about the product I would like to mention: When I first received it I thought the plastic seemed cheap and I suspected it would not hold up to wear and tear. Well, so far is has held up perfectly. I do handle it as carefully as I can, because I do not want to drop it. I take if off the bracket gently when I go to fill it up with warm water and I take my time putting it back on the bracket. It seems to me that if one handles it with care, it will last a very long time. Also, I did not use the supplied tape and adhesive. The way my shower is constructed, I was able to permanently mount it to the shower wall with two screws. I carefully drilled holes into the wall bracket to put the screws through. Guess what? The plastic did not crack from the drilling. Here is my routine: I get into the shower and get the water warm. I take the mirror off the bracket, pour out the old cold water from the last shower, fill it up with the fresh warm water, put it back on the bracket, use the supplied squeegee to get any water off the mirror, and it stays fog-free during the entire shower. Wonderful product!

I've been waiting to write this review *****
The Fogless Shower Mirror by ToiletTree is the Best Fogless Mirror on the Market. I have been waiting to write this review since I bought it July 5, 2010 on Amazon.com, but to give my review more credence I waited the recommended 30 days. First, this fogless mirror works perfectly. I have yet to see any fog develop on the mirror what so ever. It is lightweight plastic or similar. The mirror appears to be glass, but it is a high quality reflection without distortion (just a little). It is perfect for any task that you might perform in or out of the shower, but I use it to shave. If you have never shaved in the shower, I urge you to buy this mirror and start shaving in the shower for a closer and more comfortable shaving experience. It uses adhesives to attach to a shower wall. Follow the instructions carefully to mount the mirror mount to the shower wall. Once the mirror is mounted it is permanent, but you can adjust the viewing angle up or down. You must fill the reservoir with warm or hot water in order for the mirror to remain fogless. That is easy to do. Why I like this type of fogless mirror is the placement of the mirror in relationship to the shower stream. Other mirrors that attach to the shower/water pipe have you standing in and facing the shower stream. That type of mirror allows the water to splash in your face and eyes. The ToiletTree Fogless Shower Mirror allows you to mount the mirror anywhere in the shower that you please so pick your spot carefully as it is permanently mounted. Update Dec 15, 2010 It's getting close to Christmas; this will make a great gift. I have had it nearly 6 months. It works as it promises. Alot of people have gone out of there way to provide you with their experiences with this product. Shower shaving is the greatest shave and the Fogless Shower Mirror by ToiletTree is the Best Fogless Mirror on the Market. Update Oct 7, 2012 I still love this product. It shaves better than my blades. I can tell because I can see!!! It still looks new. Still works like new. It is nearly 2 and a half years old. I don't know if this product is still available or not, but if so, it makes a great gift and it is easy on the wallet and saves you some skin as well. Update Oct 1, 2014 What drives a man to review a mirror over and over and over again. Obviously, I am pretty, conceited, vain, and quite a snob. I know because my mirror clearly tells me so. Don't just buy it for your husband, see just how pretty you are. I tout this mirror because it is a product that does what it says, does it well, and it is affordable. Advance to the year 2023...it's still working. 😊 very happy.

At last, a real fogless mirror in my bathroom
I've had other "fogless" mirrors that used a coating for the foglessness, but which quickly over time lost the ability to remain so. I wasn't willing to get one of the fancy ones that connect directly to the showerhead with a water connection. This is a good, simple, and efficient compromise that merely requires you fill the reservoir behind the mirror when needed. It works perfectly and solves the fogging issue correctly. It can be demonstrated by filling the reservoir half way and noting the bottom half of the mirror remaining clear while the top half fogs. The main concern is how it is mounted. It came with a measly two sticky pads that looked wholly inadequate on their own so likely are to assist in the mounting with the included adhesive. This makes the mirror quasi-permenant and means I can't easily switch it between my bathrooms. I can live with that for now. But I do have concerns how cleanly it can be unmounted when the time comes; which includes how well the back of the base is preserved in the process for remounting somewhere else. On the other hand, given the added water weight, I doubt that suction cup mounts would be sufficient and I've had issues with them in the past. Other points and my opinion: * It's rather big, probably bigger than it needs to be (positive). * It has a shelf for the razor (positive) but I wish it had a little something to keep it from slipping or moving like some bumps, a border or even some kind of rubberized coating (negative). * it has a squeegee and a place to store it (very positive) * the plastic materials do feel kind of cheap though, especially for something that needs to be mounted quasi-permenantly (negative). I can imagine an accident where the shelf breaks off and I am concerned when it comes time to unmount the base if it might break in the process of ripping it from the wall. So I like it a lot because it works better than any shower mirror I've had before, and my only real "concern" is when it comes time to remove it cleanly and then re-attach it somewhere else.

UPDATE for: The complainers are simply wrong!!!
This mirror came early first of all. I got it two days before it was estimated to arrive. Product came out of the box looking great. I followed the instructions, which were very easy to understand, and installed the mirror. I let it sit 24 hours per he instructions. First time in the shower I filled it with water, and NO FOG!!!! The little squeegee thing is a nice feature. My only complaint is that I didn't order he one with a light. My shower isn't dark, and it might not have even made a difference, but I would like to see how the lighted version works. This mirror is holding fast o the wall, and hasn't fogged up yet, unless I didn't put water in it. This is a great product from a great company and I would not only recommend this, but I am hinting of giving it as gifts!!! Update: 07/27/2014 Well it finally happened. A few days ago the mirror let loose. A little over 1 year from purchase, the bracket things that connects to the wall came loose. The mirror made a tremendous crashing sound, and it found my mirror lying in the bottom of my tub. I do want to make it clear that the mirror did not break, even when falling about 6 feet from where it was mounted on my wall to the tub floor where I found it. The little squeegee thing had come out of it's holding slot. But really, I mean I was surprised it wasn't damaged after that kind of fall and impact. I also want to make it clear that the mirror was still attached to the bracket, even after the fall. The impact shifted the angle of tilt for the mirror, but the mirror and bracket were still intact. I could have re-attached the bracket to the wall, but I accidentally broke the clip post thing on one side, so the mirror will now not click into place. But I caused that problem, until I broke the post I planned to get some silicone and remount the mirror. As I inspected what happened, if looks to me like I didn't apply the silicone exactly how I should have, and that is what caused the bracket to come loose. Originally I tried to apply silicone to some other areas to "help" the bracket be more secure, and in doing so, I failed to apply the silicone correctly. So I don't fault the company or product for coming loose. I will not be re-purchasing this product however because it did have one major flaw. No light. I see I can get the lighted version of this mirror for a little more and so I am going to upgrade to the lighted version. And I am doing that happily. This mirror was very durable and very effective. Once I put the water in, there was no fog. I love shaving in the shower, and this mirror was excellent for that. I have absolutely 0 buyer's remorse. I have already highly suggested this product to family and friends. This mirror works incredibly well. The image is clean and clear, and it does not fog up. This is an excellent product from an excellent company. I am not even hesitant in purchasing the lighted version. I myself simply can not believe the negative ratings for this product. I have really enjoyed this mirror and would buy it again in a heartbeat if not for the lighted model. If you want a fog free mirror for your shower, I couldn't recommend this one enough. I can't see how you could be disappointed. I wasn't. This mirror was great!

Worth Every Penny For A Truly Fogless Shave
I guess I've been living under a rock! I'm 48 years old and had never used a fogless mirror to shave until recently. After I tried a friend's mirror, that is when I realized I had to crawl out and join the real world. After doing some research, I decided on this highly rated one from ToiletTree. All I can say is that I'm really impressed! Sometimes the ratings may not apply to everyone's situation but in this case, the high rating is spot on. Installation is super easy with self stick pads and silicone gel that holds the mirror very securely. I never worry about it falling. The process for using it is straightforward. Just fill it with warm water and presto, instantly fogless. The tray below stores a razor perfectly and the squeegee is indispensable for removing water droplets. The tilt function on my mirror is a little tight but I keep it in one spot so it is a non issue for me. My one concern was putting the mirror back on the base when it was full of water. My thoughts were that it might be a pain. So much so that it might tick me off and I wouldn't use it. I couldn't be more wrong. After the second day of use, I've only missed the opening once in six months! It just becomes second nature. I've seen other reviews that complained of fogging or had problems with hard water. All I can say is my water is hard but I've had zero problems in this area. It's been 6 months since I purchased it and have yet to have to clean it. The squeegee does the job for me. As for the fogging issue, it has never happened. If I forget to fill the reservoir it will fog up but just load it with warm water and the fog instantly disappears. One word of warning because it will probably happen to you. If you forget to empty the mirror during your shower and then decide to fill it up immediately on the next shower, always remember to hold the mirror way far away to dump the water or else you will get a rude awakening of cold water to your LOWER extremities if you know what I mean! I'm ashamed to say that it has happened to me more than once. All in all, this is a well made product that does exactly what it is intended to do without fail. Fogless, ease of use, low(if any) maintenance, secure mount, and durable. What's not to love in a product that actually does what you need and expect. I've had this mirror for 6 months now and could never see myself going back to shaving in the bathroom mirror. Worth every penny for those who prefer to shave in the shower or those who want to try the shower shave, you'll never go back.

Yes it works, but....
Fogless Shower Mirror by ToiletTree The good: 1. Water reservoir method is truly the way to keep a mirror fog-free (the coated mirrors or the drops to coat them yourself - don't work and eventually get so hazy you can't see anything) 2. The squeegee - nice. Better than bringing your towel in 3. The small shelf below the mirror - nice - for a razor or toothbrush. 4. Very strong mounting with silicone gel/glue (instead of suction cups which can occasionally slide loose) The bad: 1. The mirror has distortion. If you divide it into thirds, the outer two thirds are essentially un-usable - there is even a bit of distortion at top and bottom. I find the fun-house affect on the outer edges very distracting. 2. The slot to put the mirror back into the holder is difficult to line up. You take the mirror out to fill it with the hot water, and putting it back in requires craning your head to see behind the mirror to align it so it slides in, if you just try to do it "blind" you'll often get only half in and end up sloshing some water around etc. 3. No drain hole. The whole reason I got this mirror is that I was using the "Ace Fogless Shower Mirror" (also uses a water reservoir) - which is not as wide, and I thought it would be great to have the same mirror but wider, and with nice shelf. However, because of the distortion, you end up getting about the same "usable" area in both mirrors - about 4-5". But the Ace Fogless Shower Mirror just ends at 5" - no extra fun-house mirror margins [uselessly] extending the width. Another thing with the ToiletTree mirror is the lack of drain hole. With the Ace mirror, because it drains in about 20 minutes, you have the option of either taking the mirror out and filling it directly from the shower head and replacing it in the holder (which is designed so you can EASILY and quickly place it in the holder "blind", no missing), OR, you can leave it in place and use a cup to pour in some hot water. You can't do that with the ToiletTree mirror because it stays filled up with the old (now cold) water. So you are forced to remove the ToiletTree mirror, fill it up at the faucet, and carefully try to slide it back in place. If I didn't already have the super-easy experience of the Ace Mirror's design I wouldn't complain, but having gotten used to the easier one (and without any distortion), for way less money ($15 at Target), I can't see any reason why I would recommend this one, and I plan on putting my old Ace mirror back up. Yes Ace uses suction cups which can come loose, and yes the razor holder is not made to fit many razor and toothbrush widths so it ends up going un-used. But those are minor issues compared to the fact that it is distortion free and MUCH easier to re-fill with water each time you shower.

Amazing
If you like to shave in the shower, this is the best fog free mirror on the market. You simply fill the back reservoir with hot water, and it will never fog up. After trying many different shower mirrors, this is the best you’ll get.

Highly Appreciated Product.
So far I really can't state how much of a difference this product makes my life being able to have a close shave without stepping out the shower, close shave and proper clean. Awesome! I looked at the other reviews before purchasing and went ahead to make the purchase. It looks good and after my first shave was very happy. It was easy to set up after reading the instructions, and waited 12 hours before using it. Update: I've been using this product for sometime now and no issues at all. Still great, Still very useful, actually more than useful. Its ideal ! Another Update: I recently moved home from a rented flat. I was worried about removing after reading the reviews, but I need not had worried at all. The reviews make it out as if the bonding agent is some extra hard ceramic two pack. However when I removed my mirror from the bathroom tiles I wiggled the mirror around and carefully tugged it off without the need for any scraper or solvent and removed the rest of the rubbery type adhesive from the wall with my thumb nail. Not sure what all the fuss was about, there was no residue and I am now happy to be able to place this in my new home.
