Audiovox 91P (FCC ID: H50T43) Keyless Entry/Alarm/Remote Start Remote + Programming Instructions

I didnt like that I would have to take it to a shop 3 hours away for programming since no one could find the box needed for set up. I took the “guts” out of the old one and inserted into the new casing. Problem solved. However, they would be useless if I truly needed a replacement. If you can’t do the same I advise just getting a new system installed unless you have a prestige dealer in your city. 3 hour drive one way for me so it would be cheaper to get a new system in the future. Lesson learned, get extra fobs at install and 10 years later you will be ok.

I only have one key with one remote and the remote broke! I thought I was going to have to go to the dealership or a car alarm shop to get a new remote and get it programmed - I was not looking forward to that cost. Found this remote and thought I'd give it a try. The directions didn't work - had to look up how to program online. But after finding the directions online, I was able to get it programmed and working on my vehicle. Awesome deal!

Unlike others I have ordered, this one came with detailed function and programming instructions. I love these as they have a range (150 feet) far in excess of the remotes provided by OEM manufacturers (30 feet).The weakness is in the attachment as the plastic has a small cross section and is prone to breakage if the keys are dropped. The cure for this is to leave the spiral ring that comes with the fob in place to act as a strain relief.

Couldn't program it to car, tried several times.

Needing to Down application procedure to activate the remote for usage. Wasn't included...Otherwise a Good Remote.

Great remote that has a good range, the only thing is that under normal wear and tear over 5 months, the plastic loop is starting to crack and I will need to buy a replacement

I bought this unit because the FCC ID was the same as my five year old Code Alarm system. The remote would not program as per the included directions. Downloaded installation manual for the remote starter (CA5050) and found a different procedure. Worked perfectly. Nice!

This was perfect! My case was broken so I just switched the “guts” to the new case. Worked perfectly and I did not have to reprogram! I kept the new “guts” for another day.
