will this work on black scabbed canine warts?

A few customers have tried Lavengel against canine warts with varied success. Some have reported that Lavengel was effective in reducing the size and inflammation of certain kinds of warts, with some clearing away and others remaining. We are still gathering data as to how our gel interacts with the virus (canine papilloma virus) that causes warts. If you are concerned about these warts on your dog, we always recommend consulting your veterinarian.

Is this ointment messy or does it absorb pretty well?

It is a little sticky. It takes a little while to a while to absorb. Still, it works well. I’m about to purchase it for a third time.

Can I use this on my dogs itchy butt?

It wouldn’t hurt your dog’s itchy butt.

Does this help with dry flaking skin?

In general, yes. Lavengel® has shown to be quite helpful with dry, flaky skin areas. However, its effectiveness can depend on if/whether there are any underlying issues causing the dry skin.
