It comes with virtually no instructions (the flower-shaped black piece goes on the under side of the lid, it turns out), but there are on-line instructions by an Indian celebrity chef such as [...]. I can report that his tandoori chicken comes out very well -- perfectly cooked and juicy, with a luscious tandoori flavor. I haven't tried making other things such as kebabs or Indian breads in this utensil yet, but to me it is worth the price for the tandoori chicken alone.

I wanted a straightforward method of cooking Tandoori meals indoors.Chicken turns out as expected. Maybe not identical to a charcoal heated Tandoor, but not disappointing. Moist, juicy and well brownedtandoori chicken will impress. I haven't used it for other meals, but here is a useful cook book that accompanies the oven. This unit looked like a possibility. Did it perform - absolutely!.I would recommend the oven and would definitely purchase another if required. The handle on lid didnot fit tight. I used this product first time for chicken tandoori and it served purpose. The equipment is very tough to hande. It gets heated tremendously even handle gets very hot. I was told by customer care to be careful and ensure that no water comes in contact on hot lid as glass could break. I ensured that.In my second use after 10 minutes the Glass LID just blasted while on stove.The glass pieces spread al over kitchen and i have to throw all dishes that were lying around plus whole meat marinated overnight. My eyes were saved b just an inch as a glass piece woud have hit. so it`was`huge loss and disappointed. i hve complained to kawachi for refund as i have ost confidence on product. It is not safe for use.

Like tandoori? then this is your item (plus you can cook lot more but we only use for tandoori chick)easy to use no toomuch setup required
