Griffin DS Arrowhead Stand for Tablet

I bought my first Arrowhead stand back in early 2011 when it was the only one my local WalMart had in stock. It was 30$ at the time and I balked at the price but bought it because I needed something. Now almost 3 years and several tablets later, I now have about 4-5 sets of these stashed everywhere.They work great for holding just about any tablet I have tried. Everything Apple, everything Motorola,and everything Google (Asus or Samsung) has worked great in these. The rubber is not so rubbery that it sticks to the tablet, but enough you can trust it to stay put if a breeze or something comes by. The same rubber is on the bottom of the 'feet' and works well on most surfaces that I have tried. It does seem to be problematic around dusty surfaces (like all rubber footed products) so brush them off once in awhile.The downside of them is that when stuck together the magnets are not enough to hold them together in a bag with other stuff. This is an easy fix if you have an elastic that you can put in the ridges.The other minor gripe is that they are on the thicker side. You can carry them in a pocket without much discomfort but they are really at home in a bag or coat pocket.Also should mention Griffin claims you can use these to lay the tablet on for typing...if you have something grippy at the other side of the tablet on the table or desk - sure, but I've never liked it. Most of my usage is with them holding the tablet up (in the notch area).The short version is for the price of these units today, you can't really find a more versatile, friendly, easy to live-with stand in my opinion. Whether using them on a planes tray table or watching a video on a desk - they are decent.

Tablets haben entweder Hüllen die dreieckige Faltmöglichkeiten besitzen, worauf sie kaum halten, Folios die zu gross und klobig sind, oder auch welche die gar keine Aufstellmöglichkeit haben. In vielen Fällen hilft diese Halterung sehr. Zum Beispiel in der Küche als Ständer für das iPad Air auf dem die Rezepte gespeichert sind, oder auf dem Tisch, um Filme zu gucken. Die kleinen Ausbuchtungen sind gross genug für ein iPad samt Folio und halten es in genau der richtigen Position, aufrecht für Skype oder waagerecht für Filme. Dabei finde ich es toll, dass sich das Tablet ein Stück über der Tischfläche befindet, gerade in der Küche deutlich besser als ein aufliegendes Folio, vor allem wenn mal flüssiges verschüttet wird. Man könnte ja so seine Zweifel haben, tatsächlich steht das iPad darin sehr stabil und auch das iPhone kann man darin unterbringen und gleichzeitig laden.Die liegende Position ist auch einwandfrei funktionsfähig.Leichte Magnete ermöglichen es, die Teile zusammenzufügen für den Transport zusammenzufügen, so passen sie gut in eine (Hosen-) Tasche.Ich habe nach einem Produkt gesucht, was nicht nur gut aussieht, sondern auch für iPhone, iPad hochkant und quer nutzen lässt und dabei die Geräte stabil hält (ich habe hier auch regelrechte Kippständer...). Hiermit habe ich es gefunden und das ich es auch noch leicht mitnehmen kann, macht die Sache perfekt.

I ordered this as I was fed up of trying to lean my 10" Toshiba tablet against various things including piles of table mats and other random items! I am so glad I did because this is such a simple idea and works fantastically well! It feels a good solid item and holds the tablet steady and securely. So far it is doing a great job being used daily, so much so, I ordered another set for my daughter and son. Delivery from the seller was very quick and the item was well packed. Thank you very much! I am still staggered by how good this is. It cradles your tablet or smartphone securely and snugly like a cat fast asleep in your lap; it won't slip and you know your device is safe and 'at home'. It is akin to wearing an overcoat you've come to know and love. As for quality and design, it is up there with the best anything Apple's ingenuity could have come up with - all it needs is the logo. If you're thinking of buying a stand (and presumably you are if you're reading this) then forget all the others and invest in this. (And it's not made in China.)
