This thing fell apart the first time I went to use it. To begin with, the instructions were non existent for how to put it together, although it wasn’t rocket so I figured it out, even though I had one random piece that I still don’t know where it belongs. Then the phone holder is SO flimsy, it looks like it has versatility in mind but it just doesn’t tighten and then worst of all it barely holds a phone, I was trying to get my phone to stay in the holder and literally it fell apart the first time I was trying to use it. Wouldn’t buy! Save the money.

The base itself felt really stable and gooseneck wasn’t flimsy meaning it probably wouldn’t have drooped over time. You’d have to pry open the phone holder to put your phone in which is a little hard, but it definitely wouldn’t fall out once it’s in. I had a lot of hope for it, if not super excited. I heard a lot of exciting things about this.The problem is that I was missing the connector for the gooseneck to the phone holder, so I wasn’t actually able to see how it would be holding up my iPhone XR. I wasn’t able to find the Contact Seller button both in my Orders section or on the actual item menu to fix this issue. Maybe I really did miss it, but I did try and find it. :(

It gets the job done. However, sometimes it's tricky to get my phone balanced as I need it. I wish it was a bit sturdier and higher quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I like this phone Mount. It makes taking time-lapse videos a breeze.. It’s adjustable and seemingly sturdy. It’s not as stable as I would like to be where you attach the phone.I would recommend it.

I ordered this a couple months back and have had a million things going on, so only just finally opened it and the piece that holds the phone is entirely missing! Unfortunately, the return window closed after just a month. And it’s now been nearly 5. My fault, I wish I would have opened to see it missing sooner. It’s useless now. :(

Worked for what I wanted! The little part that holds the phone is “stretchable”, so it fits any phone width. Bi did find that the little screw holding it in position sideways can loosen. But it is so flexible! I’ve videoed from above and side..works great. I did have an extra piece (and possibly a missing piece based on the picture directions.. but it works!

No matter how you try to position this, it topples over, my phone I guess is too heavy, but doesn't do its job with my current phone. If you haveca smaller light weight phone it probably will work. But fir me it doesn't work good.

Mine likes to come loose. No matter how hard it is tightened. Got what I paid for, so not mad.

The media could not be loaded.  This overhead phone mount is lightweight, flexible and easily adjustable. It is perfect for overhead filming. You can adjust the stability easily by repositioning the base legs. The phone clip is very sturdy and keeps my phone locked in place even when I bend the flexible neck all the way forward. The base legs do show in the pictures that I take with this holder, but I don't mind it at all. I love using it for filming and taking overhead shots. Overall a GREAT purchase. Really quite poor quality. Arrived in an open box, no instructions (although you don't really need them), and the legs aren't straight nor adjustable. I mean, it's a few pieces of metal how can you very something so simple wrong - there's one thing quality control needs to check - is it within engineering tolerance...it was miles off! One leg about half a centimetre out.Still undecided whether to balance out with double sided pads or send it back. Junk. Avoid.

Not really sturdy as I was expecting, even though slight movements are being picked up in the phone camera because I can also notice slight movements of the stand. Another issue it has the arm is no extendable and I am having issue recording or unboxing something bigger then 1 feet or 12 inches square. Also I am getting my hands touching the arm of the stand when recording hence stand shakes slightly thus resulting in a shaky video which I don’t like. Again you get what you pay for.

It is a good idea. But it doesn't work as it is not high enough. It is impossible to record yourself drawing without having your hands on the way. Also the size of paper you are drawing has to be A5 anything bigger won't work.

This is easy to set up for any overhead videos you may want to make, looking down on what you are doing with your hands. Just screw in the flexible arm, put your phone in the holder, point the phone's camera at what you want to film and move over Steven Speilberg!Reasonably sturdy, so should last.
