Great toaster
Our toaster broke so needed one fast! This marched our kettle so we went for it. Toasts very fast. Slightly bigger than our old one which is good. Sounds a bit tinny when it pops up the toast but performance matters more of course and it toasts well and fairly evenly (never going to be perfect as most bread is variable in thickness and even slicing).

This toaster was fairly new when this happened ( less than a year old)Usually when i use it it heats up and theres a slight smell despite the fact that i clean it everydayOne time i was toasting a bagel so it took a little longer than a slice of bread when all of a sudden my child screamed fire! When i look back the toaster was up in flames and i unplugged it immediately and starter pouring water until the fire was down it made a few sparks in the process and i was terrified because it was near other appliances and on top of it was wooden cabinets this could have been seriously dangerous i was mentally ready to pick up my kid and leave the house but i manage to put it out the plastic on the bottom was all melted and the house smelled so bad i took my pet and my kid and left i am shocked i payed good money to insure i get a good toaster i cleaned periodically and used it properly i don't understand how this could have happened unless it was a manufacturing error

Perfect!
It takes a while to get used to any new toaster - you have to find the correct position of the switch so as to get the right colour toast for you. It actually took me quite a few days, but now it's perfect. There are two things I love about this toaster - one is that you can lift the toast to see if it's done, without stopping the programme, and it toasts both sides equally when you're only doing one slice - something other toasters I've had have never been able to do, including my last Russell Hobbs toaster. It also looks very smart. Best toaster I've ever had!
