All these years, I have thought that the striking surfaces were the problem. Match boxes always "lose their strike surface!" After receiving these matches, I now learn that the problem is with the MATCHES!! These are the most remarkable matches I have ever used. To think, I am praising matches...well, I am! One strike.....done.....FLAME! I am completely amazed at these matches! Every one of them strike immediately! WOW!!!

Matches are strong and are easy to ignite. I have my third box because I think they are a good product.

Excellent matches!! We use the to light our wood stove. They light immediately and stay lite. The "strike area" on the bottom of the box works until the last match is struck. We've used other brands and the "strike area" seems to get "chewed up" after about 3/4 through the box.

Great for using to light gas stove or fireplace if you need a long reach!
