Good PSU but be aware of included tester
I am happy so far with this 750W PSU. It is quiet, in fact I cannot hear it. My twin fanned graphics card makes more noise. There are plenty of cables included, too many for my need, and they are of a fairly good quality. The braided cables can be a little inflexible at the connector end due to the heat shrink, but this is only a slight issue if you need to make a sharpish bend. The modular cables are flat and I found them to be flexible enough to get a good job done.I bought this PSU for what it is; a PSU. Don't let the 'tester' sway your decision. (see attached pic) It is next to useless. Yes you can power up the PSU by shorting the appropriate pins, but so what? I have never found this rudimentary test worth while. Over the years have seen plenty of PSUs that pass this test, but on installation find they are faulty in some other way. Invest in a dedicated PSU tester if you need one.Cannot comment on reliability. Apparently it comes with a 5 year warranty. Only thing is, the RMA address is in Germany, so whether I'd pay the postage or scrap it in the event of failure is debatable. This is not unique to EVGA, but worth considering if the warranty appeals to you. Hopefully I won't need it!

Great Quality, Great Buy
Great build quality and attention to detail as always from EVGA, looks great, love the textured finish, it has nice long well braided cables with good quality plugs and more than enough for most builds. The inclusion of the tester adapter thingy, proved very useful too, as there was a gap between receiving it and actually installing the unit into my build, so saved me any stresses about whether it actually worked without the hassle of installing and connecting it to find out, which is a big plus. Why other companies can't have the foresight and consideration to chuck one of these testers in the box with their PSU's is beyond me, they must only cost, less than 50p to produce. The double ball bearing fan should last well and is completely silent, atleast to my ears, all I can hear is the sound of the moving air, with the case panel off and with it on nothing, which is fantastic.Register serial number with EVGA and you get an excellent 5 year warranty too,Overall a great buy, got mine when on offer for less than £60 and I'm well pleased with it.

Delivers a decent amount of power with no coil whine
I got this not only for its modular design but for its oem, this unit was built by superflower and they have great reliability. My other choice was the riotoro onyx 750w modular built by seasonic, I chose the evga based on my experience of superflower psu's.The cables are a little stuff so be prepared for fun cable management especially from behind the motherboard tray. The fan profile is not aggressive and seems to keep the psu cool without getting too loud, not Audible over the front intake fans. This psu replaced a very noisy corsair cx 650 that was 6 months old that developed coil whine that became irritating under load, although it was fine I had to replace it. This is the second time I have had a corsair psu do this chirping budgie noise.I would definitely recommend a one of these over the corsair vs or cx line

Has coil whine and is clicking under load
This psu under load sounds like a fire after you add a wet piece of wood and it starts cracking all over the place. Powder coating is nice, cables are as cheap as possible. Only the ones permanently attached to the unit have a mesh sleeve so running 2 8pins to the gpu has one cable with basic plastic wires and one with the nice mesh on. I can't comment on the fan sound as i am yet to hear it, but the trend in the other reviews is towards terrible. If the clicking/crackling gets worse i will have to return it

Loud under load
750W BQ, does the job but very loud under load. It's audiable (but bareable) when doing stuff in your OS. But it roars when running a game or when the system is under heavy load. It's so loud that you will need to raise the volume of music / games to compensate for it;- not something I wanted to be doing especially at night. I ended up returning it.It wasn't a faulty item I received; review sites confirm that it has an aggressive fan profile, suspected to help prolong the life of budget components that may otherwise fail inside the warranty period. I wish I did more research before purchasing. If you play games, avoid this (I'd recommend a Corsair RM, it's worth paying a little more if you need to). If you're on a budget, do look more closely at your power requirements, it's possible to run GPUs below their recommendated PSU wattage if you have a simple setup.Overall, not the performance I expected from a brand like EVGA.
