Must have for traveling
I got tired of dealing with weak hotel WiFi and random internet drops while traveling for work and short trips. Using my phone hotspot all the time was draining my battery fast, and I kept hitting limits with my carrier. I wanted something simple that could keep my laptop and tablet connected without turning every trip into a hunt for decent internet. That was the whole reason I picked this up. After using it on a few trips, it has been pretty reliable overall. Setup was easier than I expected, and I liked not having to mess around with SIM cards or contracts. The connection stayed steady most of the time, and being able to hook up several devices at once came in handy when my wife started using it too. It is also small enough to throw in a backpack pocket without taking up much space. There are a couple things that could be better though. The battery life is decent, but if you use it heavily all day you will probably need to recharge it by evening. Speeds can also slow down a bit in crowded areas, which honestly happens with almost any internet service anyway. The screen is pretty small too, so checking settings feels a little cramped. Overall, it solved the problem I bought it for without a bunch of extra hassle. I am not somebody who buys fancy travel gadgets, but this one has actually been useful instead of ending up forgotten in a drawer. It made traveling less annoying, especially during long airport waits and hotel stays. At this point, I would rather carry this around than gamble on terrible public WiFi again.

Great for on-the-go connectivity
The GlocalMe UPP has been an excellent travel hotspot for me and an easy 5โstar device. Itโs convenient to land in a new place, power it on, and have data without hunting for a local SIM or dealing with roamingโjust activate through the app and go. Performance has been reliably good for typical travel use. It connects quickly, switches between local networks automatically using Cloud SIM, and Iโve been able to keep multiple devices (phones, tablets, a laptop) online at once without babysitting it. The included 60GB US data and 12GB global data give you a generous head start before you even think about buying more. What I liked: Truly pocketโsized hotspot that works in 200+ countries with no physical SIM required. Easy app-based data management with flexible payโasโyouโgo packages after the included data. Can share WiโFi with up to 8 devices at once, great for families or multiple gadgets. โSolid battery life (up to around a workday of use) in a lightweight device thatโs simple to toss in a bag or pocket. โ If you travel even a couple of times a year and hate juggling SIM cards or public WiโFi, this is a very practical little router that makes staying connected much less stressful.

Took a chance and ordered this portable WIFI!
I bought this portable wifi to use in Jamaica on vacation. Currently, it works very well, just needs to be charged daily so keep a portable charger with you at all times to boost it up! It was pretty easy to set up and the password is conveniently printed on the back of the device...which makes it very easy for me! It has worked inside the house and out on the street so good signal strength...it is even more reliable than the WiFi in the house! Considering that this is portable and usable in over 200 countries, the possibilities are limitless and that makes the price well worth it!

Pleasantly Surprised
I was really surprised by how well this hotspot performed. I needed it for work, and the building I was in had a metal roof, which usually makes it hard to get a signal, but this still picked up very well. The only downside is that the app can be a little confusing to navigate, especially when trying to check the battery status. Other than that, Iโm very happy with this purchase.

The device does not work for 90 days as advertise.
This device is the worst product I have ever purchased from Amazon. The 90 days plan as advertised is a complete scam. The device only worked for few hours and completely ran out of data. I did purchased another 7 days data plan just to be sure and it did run out within 2-3 hours of purchase.

The Brand has a very weak internet signal. Extremely poor at streaming .Not worth buying
This type needs improvement especially with its battery. Signal is also extremely weak. Very weak when streaming or downloading. Not worth the value of money.....

Good substitute when your internet goes out
My internet occasionally shows โNo internet connectionโ at times and as soon as it happens I turn on this hotspot. I look forward to using this in the future when I travel but as of right now Iโm using it as a temporary substitute for internet. Our entire homes internet went down and I was able to connect my mother to it to for us to continue our errands.

Stable connection and very easy to configure!
I bought this hotspot to have internet during my transfers and it has worked wonderfully. The 4G signal is very stable and the navigation speed is constant. I loved that it already comes with data included, which makes it much easier to start using it immediately. It is lightweight, compact and the battery lasts a long time. A perfect solution to stay connected anywhere.

A great little 4G hotspot
So, this hotspot comes with an installed "GlocalMe" esim, with a bit of prepaid data to get it running out of the box. I bought mine to use with a physical SIM card on a local mobile provider, and it worked perfectly. The web-based management user interface is fine, and fairly intuitive. I didn't install the app, though I suspect it will make it easier for owners to configure the hotspot and subscribe to Glocalme services. The hotspot lasts quite a few hours continuous (longer than 12 hours for me.) It had no issues connecting to my mobile network and provided reasonable (though not extraordinary) 4G upload and download speeds.

Expensive and unreliable garbage
This thing sucks. Not at all worth the purchase price. Its slow and connections time out frequently. The data plans are outrageously expensive and the device consumes data with a voracious appetite. If you're a c suite executive with an expense account, you *may find the performance acceptable. But if you"re paying over $1.70 USD per GB of slow and spotty data you're going to be alittle annoyed. The best feature is that your purchased data package expires! That's right, you pay through the nose for a data package that expires 30 days following activation with no roll over. You can't "ration" your data because you don't know how much data you might be consuming exploring a town with Google Maps, forcing you to purchase another outrageously overpriced data plan, again. I've spent hours in cafes trying to get the damn thing to connect to local 4G networks using locally purchased SIM cards but the user app is so bloated with ads I honestly can't figure out what the hell the instructions are trying to communicate to me. You're guessing as to which network you're connected to, if you're connected at all. The printed instructions and the app were written by a non native English speaker and serve to frustrate the user. The smarter move here is to purchase a second hand cell phone and get a local data plan with a local SIM card. The user interface on a laptop is slow and freezes frequently. This has been one of the worst purchases of my life as the device is unreliable, has horrendous user interface options, frustrating written user instructions, and an app so bloated with ads you can't figure out what the hell you've done with the device much less what you're trying to accomplish with the confusing and convoluted app. I'm going to toss the device into the trash right now. Attempting to rely on piece of garbage is simply too frustrating.

Expensive Data but works in a pinch Emergency
It is Expensive As a Mauf'k. For the data Plans That can be provided by The Glocalme Itself. Hardcore expensive prices Im using the data It Gave as a gift for activating the account 10 Gigs local Data That's all then I'll try a Sim card when I figure out a Provider that won't be mega expensive either. Used for security cameras wifi cameras . Tends to say Unstable connection with its own data And it's not super fast but it's 2.4 GHz which is what the camera Requires to operate and Remote view

Mobile Hotspot works as expected, signal had no drop-offs
Used it in interior BC middle of nowhere, still had great reception. Battery also held up, I ran it from morning to afternoon then manually turned it off - still had juice. I used the in-app plans, but I saw other comments suggesting your own SIM can be used. Haven't tested that portion yet.

Works like a charm
I use this device every where i travel. Some esim rates are too expensive, but then i just use a physical sim with cheaper rates.
