Enjoyed the plot…a few interesting turns. Eve is a strong character with flawsAnd Roake adds the flair. Rich, handsome and slightly crooked. J D Robb is one of my favorite authors

J.D. Robb never disappoints !

I have yet to read a story about Dallas and Rourke, that I have not completely loved (53+ books and counting). There is passion, dedication, the need for justice, and the love between two soul mates all rolled into one. The plot is easily followed and the passion of the story is fluid throughout the tale. I can not recommend this book and the entire series highly enough. Anyone with imagination and passion would be hooked by the first book.

I love this author. I have read all of her Death series to date and more of her detective like books. A good read!

Very interesting story. Diamonds missing for over 50 years! All the thieves were dead. The diamonds mostly forgotten! Until a granddaughter writes a book about them. Then an enterprising bad guy renews interest in them. What do two innocent young women know that gets them very dead and captures Eve's full attention? Where are those pesky diamonds? How far will this bad guy go to find them? Why is he so determined to find them? Read this outstanding book to find the answers to these questions!! High, highly recommended.

Big Jack moves slowly. I expect more from Robb and Dallas. No big chases or takedowns along the way. Just a slow steady path to justice. No twists or turns along the way. Do not become boring Detective Dallas.

I enjoyed this book. I love all the J.D. Robb books, but this book is a sequel to the book written by Nora Robert's that tells the historical story of Big Jack. The book Big Jack tells the second part of the story, of the grandchildren. Buy the book REMEMBER WHEN written by Nora Robert's and J.D. Robb; it tells the story from start to finish. You get both stories in one book.

I’m probably not the right person to give an unbiased view as I love all of JD Robbs books, she could right on the back of a cereal pack and I would think it was brilliant. I will say the book is a small paperback and if your eyes are not good it will be a little bit hard to read as the writing is small, but just one of those magnifying reading things and all is good. The story is great as it is an “ In Death.... series.

J.D.Robb is never a disappointment and Big Jack is no exception this is an older book originally in an anthology and I loved it. Dallas and Roark are on top of their game and through a well crafted story come out victorious. I LOVED it but never expected I would not.
