Description is confusing. How tall are these?

Hi. The measurements are as follow: From the front bottom paws to the top of the ears, it's 8.5" tall. From the back rear paws to the top of the tail, it's 7.5" tall. The length is 11", that's from the nose to the rear tail. The width is 5.5". Hope this helps, in making your buying decision. Thanks!

Why is this plush toy not suitable for a 1yr old?

I dont know why it wouldn't be. I bought both bingo and Rolly for my 2 yr grandbaby and her 10 month old sister plays with them all the time.
