Estas botas las compré para rutas de montaña exigentes y uso con crampones, y de momento están respondiendo perfectamente. Lo primero que se nota es que son muy estables y robustas. Dan mucha seguridad en terrenos técnicos, piedra suelta, nieve o zonas inclinadas. Con crampones encajan muy bien y transmiten mucha confianza, algo clave cuando estás en zonas complicadas. En cuanto a comodidad, aunque al principio son algo rígidas, en pocos usos se adaptan bien al pie. Ahora mismo puedo hacer rutas largas sin molestias. Además, son bastante calentitas, incluso en condiciones frías, sin llegar a ser excesivas. La impermeabilidad, de momento, es muy buena. Las he usado con nieve y barro y no me ha entrado agua. Soy consciente de que con el tiempo seguramente perderán algo de impermeabilidad, como pasa con casi todas las botas, pero por ahora funcionan perfectamente. El agarre de la suela es otro punto fuerte: muy buena tracción tanto en seco como en mojado. Como único “pero”, no son ligeras, pero es lógico por el tipo de bota que es y la protección que ofrece. En resumen: botas muy fiables, ideales para montaña seria y crampones, cómodas una vez adaptadas y con buena protección. Una compra acertada si buscas algo duradero.

Utilisation pr les balades, très confortables même si elles sont un peu raides. Les semelles intérieures sont adaptables à la forme de vos pieds. La semelle extérieure accroche bien et évite de glisser. Mon mari est ravi. Après quelques randonnées avec, le retour est toujours aussi positif, pas une seule ampoule, ce qui est plutôt rare pour des chaussures neuves lors des premières utilisations. Donc à recommander sans hésitation !!!!

Queste scarpe sono fantastiche, calzano come un guanto, hanno un ottima soletta che evita di sentire lo sconnesso. Il vibram è come una ventosa, scivolare è veramente difficile. Ottima l'allacciatura, completamente regolabile. Impermeabilità testata in vari torrenti e sulla neve (primaverile se dovete fare "solo" neve servono prodotti dedicati....), sempre asciutto e confortevole. Ramponabili, e accessoriabili (io li uso anche coi ramponi leggeri). Non le cambierei con nulla per i miei trekking di montagna. La soletta rimuovibile consente di adattare al meglio la calzata.

I wore this shoes hiking in Svalbard, the temperature was -28 degrees. My feet feel cold even I wore the thickest merino wool socks. So I think this shoes may be suitable for the temperature above -20 degrees. This shoes can prevent breaking my ankle. The weakness of it is weight. It is too heavy, so I don’t think beginners can wear it walking for long distance. It is very slippery when I walking in the wet mountains. Shoes are very hard, not comfortable, and not suitable for everyday wear.

Got boots 0.5 size up , I usually wear UK 9.5 but bought UK 10 on previous buyers advice. Perfect fit . Well constructed boots with hi spec materials. Very similar to early Scarpa Rebel lite boots that I wore to destruction in the Scottish mountains. Got these to replace newer model Scarpa Ribelle HDCL which didn’t suit my foot shape. The Salewa boot is a good fit with customisation possible with different footbed options. It has a great Vibram sole for precision rock climbing/scrambling. The tread pattern and heel design are adequate for loose scree and soft muddy ground and snow. Crampon compatibility and light weight combined with Gore-Tex lining make for an excellent boot for Scottish winter outings. Will be buying these again .
