The new XT's use the same mounting platform as the previous SE, and like everyone else already noted the stock pads on the SE/XT are a little too shallow and end up causing discomfort to your ears. These new pads fit perfectly and solve that problem completely. Super comfy and no fitment issues.

Before you go ahead and buy any replacement parts for corsair gear, please take the time to email the company. 8/10 times they will take care of you and save you a few bucksIf you're just looking at these because you're trying to upgrade then you're going in the right direction. These are extra plush and soft and feel quite durable. I had to buy these because my original ones' clips ended up breaking after just 1-2 years. I do not regret it, I ended up getting free replacements from Corsair too which I now have as standby just incase these end up breaking at some point.

I was on the fence between 4 and 5 stars. These earpads seem to have the same problem as a lot of others, they're definitely deeper, but the ear hole itself is smaller, exchanging one problem for another. Most people buying these are probably doing it because the stock pads are too shallow and hurt having your ears pressed against the drivers.Here's the big winner with these, I don't know how other ear pads do it, but they did NOT glue the adapters to the ear pads, if you feel so inclined, you can replace these earpads with another and that's a big win to me. Ultimately I swapped the pads to a pair of headphones I don't wear for extended periods and I put a different pair on the adapters with some double sided tape since they were oval shaped and only circle shaped earpads will fit on easily.Note that pads are also one of the biggest factors in how your headphones sound, these are pleather and deep, so expect to lose sound stage, add bass, and lose mids and highs, which isn't bad if that was your intention.

I have a big head and ears. The Blackshark V2 is perfect for me, but I wanted functioning sidetone, which the wireless Razer Blackshark V2 Pro does not have (it has sidetone but its so quiet/useless). The Corsair Virtuoso XT is great, and it has pretty decent sidetone. But their original earpads are shallow and make my ears smash against their inner drivers. After about 20 minutes, my ears are aching.These new earpads have the same inner diameter as the originals BUT with much thicker pleather padding. Therefore, my ears don't reach the inner wall of drivers. They are also decently cool. There isn't any cooling gel inside the pads, but the increased space inside helps.I have been wearing them for hours. I live in Hawaii and at a decent room temperature. The earpads have not gotten hot, but it's a little warm. However, I consider this a win compared to the original Virtuoso XT's earpads.Other earpad replacements for the Virtuoso have thick padding, cool gel, breathable fabric, etc. BUT the inner diameter for them is smaller, so you end up smooshing your ears in a different way into a smaller earpad hole -- basically trading one issue for another.These earpads do not do this. I noticed another review said the inner diameter is smaller and another said it was the same as the original. I'm believing the latter as I personally felt these earpads to be the same diameter as the originals. If there is a difference, it is too small to tell for me.Maybe it modifies the sound a bit, but I can wear the Virtuoso XT without aching, finally.These are the ones to get if you just want your ears to be free within the Virtuoso XT if the original earpads are too shallow for you.

This worked with my Corsair Virtuoso!It was a huge upgrade from the default earpads! It added so much padding and made it a lot more comfortable. THIS IS A MUST BUY ASAP

Theses are so much thicker than the stock ear pads there comfortable and nice I just wish they came in white but over all there great!

This is worse than the original , solves one problem create two , the inner hole is smaller than the original your ears won't fit in there you will end up super uncorftable after 30 min waste of 15 $ , just dont buy this headset is cursed by design

Many other earcup replacements have small inner diameter openings (50mm), while these have larger and more comfortable openings. They do address the shallow depth that the original Corsair ones have. The material is a little nicer than the pictures, I though they looked really cheap. I’d try these over the others due to their size and comfort.
