Why does the ad say "NO chicken (or poultry) by-product meals" when the second ingredient is chicken meal?

Chicken meal doesn't contain byproducts- it contains only meat.

I have a pom/chi elderly and has lost most of her teeth. Can she chew this or is it too hard?

My terrier mix is also elderly and missing teeth. She doesn't seem to have any problems with the food.

Can water be added to this dry food to make it softer and more like wet food? My senior dachshund needs wet food but it has become hard to find.

I have a senior pug. I always put water in her bowl first and add the dry food to it. It seems to soften up fairly quickly. The pieces are quite small and she appears to eat them without difficulty.

Salt is listed as an ingredient but the percentage isn’t stated. Perhaps you should contact the manufacturer. My dog really likes this dog good and he is a very picky eater.
