It was simply plug and play. Moreover, I occasionally use the shortcut icons above the function keys. The volume and illumination keys do work, I think the function keys are all can do work.however. I got one. *by Z***K on 3 November 2021* THis keyboard is slightly weighty which was what I was looking for. The keys are very 'click-clack' if you know what I mean. They are solid, firm and reliable. Having used this keyboard for a couple of months and had no issues, I felt it was a time to review. The media keys work (Linux mint & Windows 10 tested), the alphabets haven't worn off or anything, the keys are still properly springy and the angle of it's stilts is perfect for my hands. I haven't been able to fault it and quite enjoy using it. I spent a lot of time looking for a keyboard like this, where the keys are flat, evenly spaced and not trying to 'suit' my hands. It's the best keyboard I've owned for typing because it is so simply spaced and uncomplicated. None of the ctrl or alt keys are oddly chaped, or oddly lengthened like a lot of manufcturers seem to do now. It is symmetrical in good measure.
