I like the length of the hose, and the water pressure if perfect for kids. The two problems is the leaking at the top connection point, as the other reviews have mentioned (even after plumbers tape and plumbing silicone). Just cheap plastic material causing this, I suppose. And second, the "body" that holds the shower head is worthless. The suction cups will not stick, with or without the water on, and it barely hangs on to the shower head because of the flimsy design, whether or not the suction holds it up on the shower wall anyway.

Received the item in original hardshell packaging. Everything looked fine except the colors were yellow and green instead of the purple in the picture, no big deal just minor annoyance.Installation was simple with teflon tape included. Upon first use water started dribbling down out of the diverter, eventually the entire cap came off spraying water everywhere. I was able to get it back on as tight as possible but the dribbling continued.On a lark I looked up the company and found their site, look it up. I contacted their customer service and they are sending out a replacement diverter, no questions asked.

I thought this was a very clever idea to help wash the soap out of my kids' hair but the water comes out at a snail's pace. My kids like playing with it, but it's not very efficient at getting the soap off of them.

Worked great for a few weeks, although it leaked a bit. Then one day during a shower it shot off and broke! The cheap plastic washer that attaches it split in half rendering the entire thing useless. Unfortunately it was past the return date so I had to throw it away. Back to using a cup to rinse my daughter's hair. Don't waste your money.

It's cute & got my kids to like showers, but it leaks horribly. I have a bucket to collect all the water being wasted. It leaks at the included diverter attachment regardless of whether I'm using my own shower head or this hippo hose. It's a design flaw - it's leaking out of both ends of the cylinder, and while I could caulk the fixed end, the other end is the dial to switch between hose & shower head & there's nothing you can fix about that. It also leaks at the part where the hose goes in to the hippo.

Easy to install and super adorable. Too bad my kid is afraid of the shower. Even hooked up to a shower that has great water pressure, the spray from this shower head is not strong, and it's adjustable so you can make it a dribble for kids that are afraid of water spraying straight into their face. Fun little thing to have in the shower for the kids.

Very cute but after a month if use the water barely trickles out. It still works but only as certain angles.

The product is not the same color as the picture. I received a purple hippo, not a yellow hippo.
