Is it a complicated lid to disassemble to clean ?** A: I just open it by pressing the thumb button (not sure what its called) as if I was pouring coffee from it to open the inside seal. Swish it in hot soapy water and rinse making sure I get hot water in it. Since we only use this to keep black coffee hot there has never been an issue with getting it clean. It's made with BPA Free Plastic and Stainless Steel. **Q: how large is the opening? i am concerned about cleaning the inside.** A: The opening is 2 1/4" in diameter. We also encourage cleaning methods that allow you to get the best result out of your Lafeeca product. Cleaning: Our products should be hand washed after every use.
