It is a DIRECT fit sensor and it is programmed from the factory for the vehicles it is meant for.

what is the difference between model 550-0105 and 550-0103. Both are recommended for 2013 RAV4 here but one is a wrong model for this vehicle.

I think the wheel construction is the difference. So for an aluminium and steel wheels. If you go tot he denso website you can put in your make and model.
