Junghans Men's 041/4461.00 Max Bill Analog Display Quartz Brown Watch

This is my first Junghans watch. I have courted this particular watch for quite a while. eventually decided to try - and I do not regret! Having a significant collection of watches, I try to e more selective with my choices. Overall, the German watchmakers are definitely become more and more recognized outside the Europe especially after the unification of West and East. One of my initial concerns, was the 38-mm diameter of the watch. I will start with this issue - the size is great! This is "a net watch". Very basic design, with fairly luminous hands and excellent visibility of the date window. This is a classical "minimalist" watch. The leather band is pretty standard and basic, easy to wear. The mechanism (quartz) is very (!) quiet. Several "minuses" as related to the design - 1) the mineral quality is very average, and probably may scratch easily (hope not...); 2) the "Junghans" appears with very small letters on the face of the watch; 3) the only place where the logo of Junghans appears is actually on the leather band; 4) knob is very basic and has no logo on it. Overall, is a beautiful and very practical watch with quite a bit of a character. I ma very satisfied with this addition to the collection. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended despite few design "flaws".

I’ll be honest, I’ve never reviewed a product before, but mere seconds after opening the watch I was prompted write this.I knew that the watch was a timeless piece of horological history, but when it actually arrived I was astounded by the sheer thinness of the thing. It may be among the classiest watches I can think of (not to mention the rich history behind the design).You can tell the leather band is of excellent quality. The details are all there. AMAZING

Beautiful watch. If you’re looking at this particular watch you’re probably done your research already and don’t need me to tell you anything. The only downside with this piece is that its crystal is relatively fragile, I got my first small scratch on day 1. Overall I love the watch though, can’t stop looking at it.

Beautiful simple design, great quality (even the strap)

I bought it as a present for my husband. He really likes it. The design of the watch is very classical. It's follows the Bauhaus design spirit of less is more. The design is still the same as the very initial design from 1950s/60s. So far it works very well.
