Sturdy
I used this to hang a large, heavy, outdoor barn quilt. It worked perfectly, very strong. The size is very large, so itโs not for your everyday needs, but is perfect for a large heavy item. The screws that come with it are a bit long. The barn quilt was made of 3/4 inch plywood and the screws were too long for that. Not a big deal, just be aware that you may need shorter screws.

Strong and Sturdy
Bought these to mount to the frames of 3 very heavy mirrors so they could hold wire for hanging them. These may be a little overkill but one thing for certain, they've held up very well over the years.

Hefty brackets
These are definitely heavy duty brackets a big upgrade for hanging the large and heavy mirror. My only concern is the length of the screws. If not careful, they will likely pop out on the front floor the frame. Might need to add a washer to prevent that from happening. The screws are large. Probably need to predrill holes to avoid the wood from splitting.

Solid as a rock!
I installed 4 of these on a giant tattered American Flag (approximately 58.5" x 111") made out of white oak flooring for a friend of mine. The flag ended up weighing almost 200 pounds! These folded steel strap hangers seem damn near indestructible and the flag will be there to stay! Very, very well made hangers and I will be purchasing more for future projects, for sure. Highly recommended!

Have a ten dollar painting buy a ten cent hanger
You see where I am going with this, right? Sure these hangers are overkill for most things but if you have larger format paintings why take a chance! The holes on each side of the strap are punched out different sizes, I am guessing this is to minimize movement, wherever the it shows attention to detail, vs cost savings

Strong and very good quality
Very strong (which is probably what everyone would want). I used to hang a very large, heavy, illuminated sign on a wall with just one hanger.... No issue with strength. Good quality.
