A++ Top-Notch Protection and Comfort!
The Triple Eight EP elbow pads are absolutely fantastic! They offer excellent protection without sacrificing comfort. I've used them during multiple skate sessions, and they’ve saved my elbows more times than I can count. The fit is snug but not restrictive, and the padding is thick and absorbs impacts perfectly.The straps are adjustable and stay secure, even during intense skating. Plus, the build quality is solid, with no signs of wear after repeated use. If you want reliable, professional-grade elbow protection, these are the way to go. Highly recommend!

They Knew What They Were Doing
so basically what do you want in skateboarding knee pads? Umm that they are comfortable and aren’t a nuisance .. and that they will protect when you go down..So these do both those things.. and they look good..So just to elaborate a bit: the combo of nylon and padding with a Velcro strap to hold in place and then a stronger nylon strap for tension over it.. see they knew what they were doing.. this makes it so you can wear looser or tighter and it doesn’t annoy or cause abrasion.. like i can get them to a point where i don’t even really notice them and they don’t effect my skating.. so then if they do need to come into use on a fall: yep good correct about of hard plastic shell and then padding underneath…

Smallish but works
These are relatively small (as in thickness, padding) compared to 187s. It's better than taking concrete straight to the elbow, though.

Must have
I love these. I fell off a scooter about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I landed on my right elbow. I knew right away that something was wrong with it. Turns out I had a small fracture in my radial head. It eventually healed but that accident was when I realized that I needed elbow pads for when riding a scooter. The next day I ordered these pads on Amazon and I won't rise without them. These pads are fantastic. They're not that expensive but they're very effective. They fit well and they have a hard shell on the outside right over the elbow. That hard shell is primarily what will protect your elbow from being injured if you have a bad fall. I've had 3 falls on my scooter since getting these elbow pads and didn't even get a scrape from any of them while wearing these pads. Obviously you never want to fall, but if you do, these pads WILL protect (and save) your elbow. I've had the same pair for over 2.5 years at this point and they work great. They don't wear down or anything. Highly recommend. Honestly, I think these pads are better than some of the more expensive elbow pads. Sometimes basic pads are better than more "sophisticated pads". Trust me....get these and you won't be sorry.

Great product Great Fit
Impressed with the fit and quality but I wouldn't expect anything less from Triple 8 products .. I bought the Triple 8 Downhill Helmet which is high quality and fit perfect so I thought I would get all Triple 8 protective gear I'm so glad I went with my instincts the elbow pads fit perfect I did go one size down my elbow measured about 10" inches.. Fit, quality and comfort is what I need especially riding my Electric Longboard Skateboard in Hot weather and with some insane top speeds.. Triple 8 products is the way to go!

Newer design available. Old staps are terrible. Beware of the "Used" items.
Triple8 NYC as a brand is great. I have their SweatSaver Certified helmet and HiredHands wrist guards/gloves. Both are great. These elbow pads I'm sure will also suite my needs once I break them in, but buyer beware.I ordered a pair of these from the "Used" section to save a few bucks. I was sent an entirely different design. They were very cheap feeling and nothing like the EP55's listed and looked nothing like anything that was on Triple8's website. Possibly counterfeit but I have no real proof. So those went back and I ordered another set from the "Used" section. This time the proper ones arrived. Only just as others have stated, the straps were way too long and rendered the pads unusable. I paid less than $20 for these so instead of sending them back again, I just cut the straps and resewed the velcro. Now they fit perfect!I did though go look at the Triple8 website again and it seems they have redesigned the EP55's to address the strap issue. The bottom strap is different and both straps now come all the way around the pad.Bottom line, if you want to save some money, are not afraid of cutting up your new purchase and know how to sew, these are fine. Otherwise, just go to Triple8.com and order the new design.

great fit
I'm 5 feet 1 to 2 inches tall and 105 lbs, fits my arm snug but good. My old elbow pads wore out quickly and kept sliding down my arm. I play Roller Derby and these were well worth the price.
