To get the full interior cable size - I used it without the attachment fittings to the mounting bodies. Just wrapped the armored cable around the top with electrical tape - held great in the mount. Did exact what I need it to do. 1 cable 1/4" diameter and 2 - 14gauge wires. That is a tough fit in any armored door loop - but in these it was a snap.The mounting screws it came with were too short to use, but I have plenty of screws. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ this thing worked. The gardener had cut through a cat 5 cable for our gate as he was shaving the weeds with a weed whacker.After repatching the cable, we put this thing on.. The chrome spiral protected the cable. We just put on a lot of silicone on the bottom to protect the connections from water. The disappointing thing was that the two square edges are plastic and not metal.
