Are the dice that are included full size dice?

Yes, they are regular dice and it is a fun game for children and adults, we enjoy it with friends and family.

Would this be fun for a 6 year old?

Probably not on their own. We've played it with all our nieces and nephews at family gatherings from about the time they 5 on-wards. The youngest liked to help roll the dice and the excitement when someone gets Farkle. As an added benefit it helped them all learn to count. Although the dice only go up to six, we would help them count the scores so they learned how to deal with higher numbers. Now the eldest ones (first year college) play with youngest (5) and help them along.

Is farkle the same as yahtzee?

farkle is a risk taking game. take a risk and keep rolling to build your score or play it safe so you don't lose your points. it's a game of strategy and luck. i think its much more exciting than yahtzee. thank you for your inquiry.
