Must have for those who can't do pills!
The Pink Stork Liquid Prenatal has been the only way I can get vitamins down during my pregnancy. Of course, with as weird as pregnancy is, me, who had no issue swallowing pills before suddenly couldn't even get a multivitamin up to my lips without starting to gag. I had never thought of liquid vitamins until I found this product and I'm so glad I did because otherwise I would have had to go my entire pregnancy without a vitamin supplement. I also love that it is liquid since I have also been able to add my liquid vitamin D supplement right into it and get it all done with at once. At first I was following the suggestion on the bottle of mixing this with another beverage - but honestly I think that makes it harder to get down and it brings out a funky after taste. I was starting to get nausea taking it that way. What has worked for me is just to put it in a shot glass and take it straight. I think it tastes way better that way and has made it much easier to manage with chronic morning sickness. As other reviewers has mentioned, the flavor is somewhat reminiscent of hard chewable vitamins. I've gone though 4 or 5 bottles of this so far. The taste is pretty consistent, but I have noticed that the liquid in some bottles is dark brown and in other bottles it is light orange. I'm not sure if this is due to the age of the product or if it is just natural variation in color due to the fact that the vitamins are derived from fruits and vegetables. Overall, this has been a great product for me and I'll continue using it for post-natal support.

I can't say enough about this AMAZING pre-natal!
I'm a mom of 2 with one on the way. All about 5 years apart. A lot has changed in regards to pre-natal care over the years. I've gone through generic pre-natal vitamins that I had to supplement in order to get everything that my baby and I needed. Then, tried gummies which I had to choke down at least 6/serving. You can imagine that it gets old pretty quick. I couldn't imagine having to do that through the end of my pregnancy and on to nursing. Nope. I became familiar with Pink Stork during my first trimester. I used Mist for my "morning" sickness. I was impressed with the simple, all-natural ingredient list and its effectiveness. I was unaware that there was such an extensive offering of pre/post-natal supplements. The Foundation has been a relief from the handful of pills I was taking everyday. Just like its ingredient list, short and simple. I take it like a shot first thing in the morning with a few orange slices. The taste may not be ideal, but the convenience of one quick dose and knowing that it is immediately absorbed is. No icky tablet taste unexpectedly coming up. No handful of gummies to choke down. I wish I had known about this product and the Pink Stork brand sooner. I will definitely be using these products through the end of my pregnancy and for nursing.

Great multivitamin
I just starting taking this. The taste is fine and actually better than most liquids. I think the women upset by the taste are just hypersensitive to tastes, which is understandable when you're pregs. I am not pregnant and not trying to get pregnant, so I only take half a dose after breakfast. I have a few nutritional deficiencies from really poor digestion and liver function. For myself, taking a multi that has plenty of folate, b12, iron, and zinc is key. After taking one dose of this I felt fantastic energy-wise and mentally. It also helped speed up my sluggish digestion. Unfortunately I did get a dull headache from the iron (iron either makes me constipated or gives me headaches) but I found that the half dose with plenty of water + taking some extra magnesium on the side afterwards seemed to ease the headache away slowly. I may try taking 1/4 of the dose twice a day to see if that helps because the headache is kind of a buzzkill.

EXCELLENT PRENATAL!
I've been using this prenatal from Pink Stork Foundation for a little over two weeks now and I am super pleased with it. I actually like the taste of it, somehow it tastes like vitamins but in a good way, for me at least ;) I do take it with my evening meal, along with a probiotic and prenatal omega blend, as opposed to the suggested morning usage on the label. Mornings into early afternoons (some days later still) are not the most fun right now (9 weeks) so I tend to not want to smell certain smells or taste certain tastes during those times. But I honestly believe that I could take this in the mid-morning with some food and be just fine. I hope to make the switch soon so I can see if it helps with energy during the day as I think and hope it will. I will update when that happens. This is a complete prenatal with much of the natural goodness as I was hoping for and I am thankful to have found it. I like knowing that the liquid is much more readily and quickly absorbed by my body and that my liver isn't struggling to process one more (big) supplement! Bonus: Momma and baby are getting quality nutrients! Thanks Pink Stork for such a great and thoughtful product!! Update: August 29, 2016 I have been using Pink Stork liquid prenatal for 2 months now and I am still really pleased with the taste as well as affect. I am finally in the second trimester (closing in on week 17) and feeling better with lots more energy that I'm sure is partly due to this prenatal since my eating habits are no where near as clean and steady or predictable as pre-pregnancy. I have noticed that no matter what time of day I take Foundation, I never have issues with feeling nauseous or burping up the taste of it like I do with capsule type supplements or vitamins. I am definitely thankful for this prenatal, thank you Pink Stork!!!

Great product, best prenatal I could find. Con: Not travel friendly.
I switched over to this from RAW Prenatal by Garden of Life. I was upset to see Garden of Life was bought out by Nestle, and they recently sneakily added Vitex, which should NOT be in a prenatal. I did my research, and chose this Pink Stork liquid prenatal because of the organic ingredients, and absorption. Why waste your money by peeing out all the vitamins?? This one tastes just as other reviews say, and it’s not bad to take once a day and get it over with. Most other organic/food based prenatal require three pills spaced through a day. I had trouble with that, especially once “mom brain” kicked in. Trying to remember three pills a day is tough when you’re sleep deprived and have a new baby! Taking this once in the morning has been so much easier. So far I am halfway through the bottle and very happy. My only concern was this doesn’t have much calcium or magnesium, which is important in pregnancy. I contacted customer service and they were wonderful. They suggested I probably get enough in my diet, but to double-check with my doctor. I also take a vitamin D and a fish oil DHA. My only dislike of this product is that it’s not travel-friendly, as it needs refrigerated. I may just buy a cheap normal prenatal for weekends away and such. I would highly recommend this prenatal if it’s in your budget! Customer service was great to deal with, and I’m sure if you’re unhappy with their product, they’ll make it right. I plan to continue taking this prenatal through my new pregnancy, and through breastfeeding (if not switching to their breastfeeding vitamins). I have not had any issues with spoiling (I refrigerated right away after it arrived), or spilling down the side of the bottle. I was worried this would taste like wheatgrass or something, and be hard to stomach. But it’s not bad at all! My husband even tried it out of curiosity, and said “it tastes pretty good for drinking vitamins!”

NOT a pleasant taste
I would definitley NOT recommend this if you're dealing with morning sickness. I'm not pregnant, but nursing my 2 month old, and wanted to try something different from the pill vitamins I've been taking. Wow, I cannot even imagine how a pregnant woman would be able to swallow this stuff! It looks like Betadine, and has a very strong taste and smell. I sort of dread having to take a vitamin now. I've learned to sort of toss a tablespoon of this stuff to the back of my mouth and swallow down. -Sort of like you would when swallowing a pill. That helps to lessen the taste of it, but not entirely. And eat/drink something immediately after. You can mix it with a drink, but I'm not too sure that it would make a difference. Overall, if you have a strong stomach, and don't have bad nausea, it's doable. Just a quick gulp and it's over. But why should taking prenatals be such a task, anyway? Pregnant women already have to do deal with a ton of annoyances, so why add to it? For an alternative, I had been taking these, but was lured by the hope that liquid vitamins would be better absorbed. I took these pills while pregnant, and had NO problem with nausea, no burps, swallowing, etc. And they're made with Folate, vs Folic Acid (a synthetic version). I bought them for $24, 6 months ago, but now the price has gone up to $30-$38. BEST Nest Prenatal Vitamins, with Methylfolate, Once Daily Multivitamin, Contains Whole Food, Organic Blend, and Methylcobalamin (B12), Easy to Swallow, 100% Natural Vitamin, 90 Count And a side note, if you're also looking for a DHA supplement, I took this during pregnancy and now while I'm nursing. Absolutely no fish burp/taste, no nausea, anything. OmegaVia DHA 600. Ultra-Pure DHA Omega-3. 600 mg DHA per pill. Triglyceride-form DHA-only formula. 120 Capsules.

Please be careful
I have purchased the pink stork liquid prenatal a few times and unfortunately had to stop because i didn’t realize how much vitamin A was in this and its an unsafe version of it too. i just pray everything is ok with my baby as i purchased several times and took this for my entire 1st and 2nd trimester

Great Product
So I started out in my pregnancy taking prescription pills as my prenatal. My hemoglobin (like 15.9 pre-pregnancy) dropped from 13 to 10 in three weeks. Since nothing in my diet had changed and I was still taking my prenatal, I figured that I was probably not absorbing the iron from the pills and wondered what else I may not be absorbing. I switched to taking the Pink Stork Foundations. At my next appointment my hemoglobin was 12 and has been around 13 since. I feel like I'm getting a lot more out of this than I ever was the pill. Pros: Seems easily absorbable Organic and vegetarian which means vitamins from real sources instead of synthetic Cons: It being a liquid means it has to be measured, I guess I could measure several in advance, but I don't want to clutter my fridge I have a hard time with the taste. To me it is very strong. One of the only things I can't take on an empty stomach (I can take zinc and vitamin C with no issues so this surprised me) For me, it does not contain enough magnesium, but that is easy to supplement. Over all: This product is well worth it for me. Even though I don't like the taste, I like the fact that I am getting real vitamins instead of synthetic chemical compounds. Being someone who prefers to try natural before medical, this is a really great option for me, and I am happy I am actually getting the iron I need.
