Me encantaron estos platos, había leido reseñas de que emiten un extraño olor y dude en comprarlos, pero el olor que emiten es de la palma que están elaborados.

After reading many extreme reviews (either super great or horrifying), I decided to give them a shot and ordered them. What’s the worst that can happen..? I can just return them right..? Here is my honest and raw opinion. I ordered these plates for my wedding, as our catering company will no longer use china due to covid. I was a little hesitant in the beginning when I opened them because I noticed what the 1-star reviewers were saying. But this is how I looked at it:These plates are biodegradable, made from palm leaves. They aren’t meant to be perfect, they aren’t meant to be squeaky clean. Leaves in nature have dirt, they come in different shapes, different thicknesses, different colors. If you are looking for the PERFECT plate, this might not be your best choice. No, they aren’t horrifyingly dirty, they obviously cleaned the leaves before putting them together, but the stains stay! All the plates are unique, and I personally think that adds a special touch. I was debating on whether or not to return them, but my husband actually loved them and said it exceeded his expectations, so we decided to keep them :)

I use these plates for my charcuterie business and they work perfectly! Each plate is unique in its own way and has great presentation. The 10” box fit perfectly in my 10” boxes used for meat and cheese “to-go.” With these boxes I am able to create various platters. It fits the perfect amount of food, they are sturdy, and easy to package. The smaller size are great for serving dessert and are much more aesthetically pleasing than a regular store bought plate & much better for the environment. I will be adding these to my business favorites list!

I got these for a BBQ. I knew there would be a lot of sauce and meat juice, but I didn't want to do dishes either. They held up great. People felt bad about throwing them away and kept trying to put them in the dishwasher. I put most in my composting bin and used the rest to get the fire started. They are permanently in my Amazon BBQ favorite's list.
