Great pad - sheepskin style top and material on bottom - zip to open - inside is a thin padded silver foil - I wondered if our German Shepherd would rip it up as she does with lots of bedding but so far so good - she has it in her massive kennel and I put it inside a big fleece as this sees to keep it in p;lace nicely and she loves it - she spends a lot of time outside as she gets too hot and bored indoors and each night before she comes in I check the bedding and there is an indent where she has been sleeping so all good and she hasn't ripped it up so has obviously learnt it is cosy. Size wise obviously she is bigger than it if she was laying out flat hence the fleece and then I have blankets round to make a bed style for her as her kennel is massive and she curls up happily on the pad

Fitted elderly dog’s crate perfectly. Worked well to keep him warm. Seems good quality and was easy to clean.

This mat arrived today and it is one with the crinkle sound, so I put it on the floor with several blankets layered on top of it. She has been using it and hopefully it will be warmer for her, as she has severe arthritis and needs every bit of warmth to aid her. Unfortunately, she can no longer make it up to the bed or the living room chairs, so it's important to me that she be as warm as possible on the floor. I would have given 5 stars without the crinkle sound; some animals won't use a mat with that sound, but with the additional blankets it's not so noticeable.

My cat loves it. Always fits on it on the rug. Aldi put one on his favorite armchair. Easy to clean it.
