ConairPompadour Comb Kit

Interesting tool, but hard to keep in place
I bought this as a volumizer for a chignon style for a wedding based on a recommendation in a styling video that used this design, and it did help keep hair up and in place better than just twisting the hair up and pinning it in place (I have an angled bob, so my hair in the back is shorter, making it harder to keep pinned). But despite the velcro-like backing meant to adhere it to the head and the fact you can insert bobby pins into the poofy part, the comb and attached pouf was sliding down and taking hair with it by the time the wedding began, about 45 minutes after I finished styling. It may work better as a pompadour on top (though I'll never use it that way, personally), but as a comb for adding volume and a way to adhere pins, it's not as great as I'd hoped.

It works!!!!
I was a little apprehensive about buying this after reading some of the reviews. However, this thing worked great! I didnt need any directions. I just combed some of my hair to the front, stuck in the come and voila! I had an instant bouffant/pompadour. The come stayed in all day and looked very natural. I would highly recommend it because it sure beats teasing or back combing to get the poof effect. I wear my hair in a french twist on nights out and the pomp comb gives me the extra lift I need for an elegant look.

Good product overall
Conair has a video on YouTube teaching how to use it. Upon following the example given in the video it works great. Love it...good product.

Not worth it if you don’t have tons of hair
I wish I didn’t ignore the other reviews. Unfortunately this comb is impossible to cover. I’d need to have a ton of thick hair to cover it, which I do not. It looks extremely unnatural in my hair.If it was shorter in length it would be perfect.

Too big
It is a well done product, it just didn't work for me, too high for my hair is on the short side, but the product itself is good just not for me.
