I needed to employ an aging GoPro4 as a stage monitor for a local community theatre. So it needed to be plugged in to power and the mini HDMI all the time and mountable in an "out of the way" location. Most GoPro cases cover up the ports to offer some protection against the elements. So I had to have a solution that could use typical GoPro style mounting pieces, but give me full access to all of the ports and buttons on the camera. Protection from the elements was not important because the camera would be inside all of the time. So if you are looking to mount a GoPro 4 in a weather safe location and keep it plugged in as a security camera or a baby/pet monitor. This is an affordable and quite capable option. I would give it 5 stars, but it feels a little flimsy; however it works like a charm.
