Is there a trick to get the lip gloss in the tubes? I end up making a mess. Ugh.

I use a pipette and fill just below the neck of the bottle (where the cap screws on). Don’t over fill; the pressure from placing the wand will displace some product, so you can’t use too much.

Can anyone speak to whether the rosegold color on the lid lasts? Does it wear off over time? I'll get plain ones if these will look bad with use.

I’ve not experienced that at all. I’ve kept one in my purse since January and it look just like the packaged ones!
