The glue is super viscous and seems more similar to a wood glue base than something like CA that you could accelerate. I didn't have an issue getting this glue to set quickly. **Q: Would this be good to use on the accordion style paper surround? To seal small cracks and restore surround?** A: Yep. I repaired my subwoofer. Works great. **Q: Can this be used to repair a hole in the surround itself?** A: yes, works well on cone and on surround, if its an accordion or rolled paper surround depending on hole/tear size, I reinforce with black heavy construction paper **Q: How long will the bottle last once opened?** A: I purchased mine over a year ago. I have used this twice because I have an old sub and it rips open sometimes, it sucks to apply because it gets really sticky fast but it dose the job, fixed my subwoofer both times and it's cheaper than buying a new sub.
