The last bottle I bought was just that, a plastic bottle. Since it is mixed with water in various strengths, being packaged in a spray bottle seems wrong. I suppose when it's all used up you're left with a spray bottle to use. Anyway, it has tackled all my cleaning needs and because you add water at various amounts, it lasts a long time. I purchased a few spray bottles and made up various ratios, writing on the bottle what it is. Why do some reviews say oone bottle came empty?** A: I received 2 full bottles ... did not hear of empty bottles going to individuals. **Q: Do you think this could remove soot from the face of brick fireplace?** A: I think it should, I haven't found anything it doesn't work on. It dissolves lamp black from hurricane lamp chimneys, it just runs off, rinse and you're done. **Q: will this remove melted plastic from motorcycle exhaust?** A: It is not a solvent. It works great on fabrics/most walls/flooring. You probably could order it and try. If it doesn’t work on your plastic/exhaust issue, it will help clean any gritty grimy needs.
