I love, love, love all things noodley- especially ramen, lo mein or any Asian noodle dish. I had tried these konjac noodles a few years ago (called Skinny Pasta at the time) and found them an excellent substitute for lots of noodles that have a ton more calories (and weird ingredients, like in most ramen) than the Skinny noodles. They don't have a real taste on their own, but in a stir fry with sauce take on all the flavors you put in. They are definitely more toothsome than a ramen or egg noodle, but I didn't mind that at all. This time I bought a 5 pack of the Angel Hair shape, as they are most like the Asian noodles that I love, but I almost wish I had bought the variety pack to try the rice and maybe a wider noodle. Once these are gone I definitely will. At 9 calories a bag I didn't feel guilty AT ALL eating the entire bowl! (Shown as I made it today with chicken, shredded cabbage, sugar snap peas, ginger, scallions, soy & hoisin sauces and sesame seeds)

I've waited far too long to write this review! I've been eating Skinny Pasta for a couple years and I have tried several brands of Konjac noodles and found them gummy and some hated the fishy smell. I LOVE this brand - it is in a liquid but it is not offensive, with a light rinse it is perfect and so easy to prepare. One bag is 9 calories so you can plump up all kinds of recipes to make a meal - you can eat until your hearts content (with the right additions or course). I love the angel hair and think it has the best texture - with Konjac there will be a different consistency BUT way more pleasant then any other brand I've tried and mixed in with a meal its so worth it for the dietary value!!! I also love the rice and put it in my soups or a casserole that calls for rice. I say give it a try, you can find it in stores sometimes but hard to find!

Decided to try these since Better Than Noodles seems to have been discontinued. Bought two boxes, price seemed nice. (Regarding Picture) The first box of 6 packs was exactly like the noodles on the right. Nothing wrong with the packaging, filled with noodles and liquid. But for some reason the noodles were shriveled and like a matted brick, Tough to eat and was tough to separate the noodles, like matted horse hair when I was trying to separate the brick. I thought that was just the product and was just going to endure the second box and not order again. Inside the second box, 2 of the six packages was the noodles on the left, just like what I'm used to with mushroom noodles, fluffy, soft, not matted together. Was a horrible experience for only 20% of my order to be correct. Not sure what caused the shriveled rubberband version but clearly there is no Quality Checking on these packs. Buyers Beware

Completely flavorless, my first time trying it I used it in a chicken broth style ramen. I imagine this noodle can be carried by any sauce/broth because it is completely flavorless. I was hoping the texture would be more similar to the more common noodle. Its possible it would become softer had I cooked the noodle longer, but I just followed the instructions & let it re-heat in the boiling broth for a few minutes. The noodle was quite rubbery & chewy. Not ideal, but adequate. I have a huge capacity for forgiveness of this noodle considering how extremely low calorie it is. It being edible & only 9 calories has it meeting my expectations. It was only slightly less crunchy/chewy than the kelp noodle I tried before. It is more noodly than the kelp noodle alternative. All in all, a satisfying noodle dupe.

Absolutely love this product! I love pasta but hate the high calories that come with it so this is a great alternative to eating pasta with low calories. This pasta is very easy to cook. Just strain the water in the bag, give it a quick rinse, add your favorite pasta sauce and cook for 10 min. It's perfect for those lazy days where you want to make a quick dish. Highly recommend this product!!

I like these noodles. They are super healthy and can accompany anything you can imagine. They are good hot with marinara sauce or cold in a pasta salad. You can eat them right out of the pack. If you heat them, they can become a tad bit chewy, rubbery. You have to experiment with the right temperature and duration to get a desirable consistency. That’s not a deal-breaker though, but it is just something to be aware of. I have made repeat purchases, and I will buy again. For your first time, I recommend you buy the variety pack, with spaghetti, fettucine, rice, and angel hair pasta rather than get just one type. That way you can sample them all and determine which you like best. I enjoy them all. Only the rice had a perfect texture. It was not rubbery or chewy like the others. But still, I highly recommend them. The chewy nature is tolerable.

I really wish someone would have warned me this stuff doesn't digest in your body. I just spent the last 15 minutes googling pictures of fecal worms because I didn't put two and two together. Taste is okay but not great.

I’ve been ordering this for quite some time now and it has always been good! The appearance was all wrong. It looked like it was liquified, almost like gravy. Not all of the box of 6 was like this though. I cooked two that looked fine and they tasted good. Later that night one of us had got sick, don’t know if it was related or not. Now we’re afraid to eat the rest of it! Lately I’ve noticed it harder and harder to find this product. I’m wondering if the company is going out of business and we’ve just been getting what’s left in the warehouse. Also, the box was damaged when I received it.

Awesome stuff. I've tried a few brands and this is my favourite. Also, angle hair is my preferred noodle type. I've had these with Asian and Italian meats/sauces. Pro tip - heat them up by boiling in chicken or beef stock and whatever seasonings you want. Gives the noodles a subtle base flavour that is augmented by whatever sauce you use. Also, there's nothing stopping you from mixing in a little bit of wheat or rice noodles of the same type while still reducing a huge number of calories.

These are so good, I prefer these over "real" noodles that are full of carbs that convert to sugar. Great alternative to staying healthy. Thank you!

I love the product, but lately every time I get them delivered some packages 3 out of 6 came dry and not usable. I will not order again . The product is not returnable.

as konjac noodles go, these are pretty much what you'd expect. we had the angel hair ones, they're the right diametre for angel hair pasta, but like all konjac noodles the taste & texture is nothing like pasta. they tend to clump together in one solid mass when we cook them, so we cut that mass up after rinsing & drying, before adding it to the pot / pan. if you're familiar with konjac noodles then you already know what you're getting. if not, if you're expecting something with the same taste / texture / mouthfeel as real pasta, you will be disappointed
