great little lights
these things are amazing and for like stairways and areas that may be dark at night they do a great job of lighting the floors to make moving around safe,we use them for our older dogs that we rescue and have vision issues anyway so they are a godsend in helping them navigate the halls and stairs and ramps to there beds even with safety rails in place its easy to see that these little lights help alot in giving them the confidence there on the right path, highly recommend and the sensors work flawlessly so batteries last a very long time as they only light as needed and shut down automatically after a few seconds when theres no longer motion

Questionable Quality Control -- Fantastic Customer Service.
I had originally given my review 2 stars. And have now modified it to 5 stars (update on15MAY to original review on 08MAY). The company representative was very helpful (and speedy) in replacing the item that was defective in the description I first submitted (That review is at the end of this one.). The company responded quickly to my first review as I described the fault in the device. So. Exceptional Customer Service. Now the product. These are the most excellent lights. Highly reactive and bright. I use them in stairwells and closets. This way, I can navigate my stairs without having to turn on a light when I have something in my hands. Think, carrying a child to bed on this one. I also can dig out gloves, scarves, hats and boots from a closet during winter and replace them easily. I have modified the backing for placement on the wall. Using a screw, I mount a large washer to the wall and superglue magnetic tape to the back of the light mounting plate. This way I can easily remove the whole device, replace the batteries and remount the device. I cycle rechargeable batteries through my motion detecting light system. It involves about 10 lights. For fun, I recharge the batteries using a large battery I charge from solar panels, so once the capital purchase has been made, the operation of the motion detecting light system has no costs. I have been operating this system for about 10 years now, while adding lights where needed. I highly recommend these lights as they have shown to be the brightest; containing 3 LED lights within a device purchased to date. So far I have ordered 2 packages of 3. The first set of 3 work great. Sensitive to motion, bright and an elegant addition to the stairs. The second set of 3, has a problem with one of them. Once the light turns on, it remains on, despite placing where there is no motion and monitoring it's turn off time. Which never happens, up to 15 minutes. I also place it in the direct sun while the light is on. The light still remains on. However, removal of a battery to turn it off and replacing the battery while in direct sun, the light remains off. Once I move the product into the darkness. the light comes on and remains that way (for several minutes) when no motion is detected. For this most reasonable price I score it as 2 stars, because the performance of the light and battery is inconsequential to the motion detector and bright light sensor not functioning in 1 of 3. I don't know if it is worthwhile to return the set due to a single defect (out of 6, really). But it is frustrating that something like this would slip past QC. I am debating the next step for return, reimbursement.

Nice lights
Work well, very bright. This is my second set due to one from the first set stopped working after about 2 weeks. They are really nice for the price

Lighting our Path Perfectly
I love these little but mighty bright lights. I used these in the little hallway in our garage. There was only one light by the main door of our garage and we did not have another switch at the end to turn it off at the end of the night. These were very functional and fit perfectly because we did not need to switch anything on or off since they were batter powered and turned on by sensor. We love these! the lights were of good quality and are pretty strong, I accidentally dropped them a few time and nothing broke. They were also easy to install on our walls.

Perfect! Here's why..
I have a large RV with steps up to the bedroom. For some reason, the RV doesn't have a hallway light or stair lights. Even worse, no banister for balance when walking down the 3 relatively steep steps at night when you can barely see. I needed stair lights that would be cordless and battery operated. My concern is that I have a dog who runs up and down the steps many times throughout the day and night so I was concerned about the lights draining the batteries fast. Turned out not to be a concern after all! So now that I've had these lights for a couple of weeks, here is some useful information from my experience that I found difficult to locate when looking at dozens of brands: - I chose the "warm" version of the lights and love the color. They are very illuminating without blinding you. - These lights detect lighting in the area and only turn on only when lighting is low. VERY important since they each take 3 AAA batteries that I didn't want to drain quickly. - When the lights detect motion when the room is dimly lit (they won't turn on when there is already sufficient lighting - hugely practical), they stay on long enough for someone who is slower to navigate the stairs, but not so long as to cause excessive use of the batteries. They automatically turn back off when motion is no longer detected. - It has now been a couple of weeks of frequent use and the batteries haven't died yet. Not sure how long they'll last, but pleased they have lasted this long so far with frequent use, without draining the batteries. - The lights come with double-sided adhesive tape for simple peel-and-stick mounting The one thing I don't like is that the cover on the back of the light that encloses the batteries, is very snug. I am concerned that when it is time to change the batteries, it may be difficult to slide the fixture upwards to release the backing, without having to remove the adhesion to the wall. We will see when the time comes. All in all, a total 5/5 stars for me. Thanks for making a quality product at an affordable price! So rare to find now a days. Hope this review helps someone on the fence! Blessings to all.

Meh
I purchased 3 packs of these lights (24 units total) to place in various dark spots around my home. It was a lengthy (and tiresome) operation to open them, install the 72 brand-new AAA batteries, close them up so the plate actually stayed put, and peel off the finicky sticker topping. (Tip: use tweezers.) I tested each and every one of them in a dark room. Each worked. Applied. Some of them worked. Some did not. I then detached the face plate of the ones that didn't work. Checked that the batteries were tightly positioned. Retested in a dark room. All were working. Reattached. Some worked. Some did not. The ones that DO work are temperamental. As much as I wave and flail about some do nothing. Others light up immediately with little to no movement. It's a lottery moment if one works when I need it. Many in the reviews (justifiably) complain about the pesky face plate. It was a master class in precision configuring its removal to install the batteries. Once I did a few I got the hang of it. Use a gentle touch. Same with removing the plate once it's secured to your surface. There's a science to it. When applying to your surface push tightly and hold for a few seconds. They do stick well. Some reviews mention the face plate falls off once applied to their surface of choice. This happened to me. The face plate was simply not fully secured. Play with it to secure. Gently. If you remove the entire unit, it does not take the paint off the wall. (At least in my experience.) BUT you cannot replace the unit once fully removed. The sticky tabs deteriorate so you'll need some new tabs or sticky tape to reapply. After jacking with these frustrating things for a few hours I'm comfortable saying they weren't worth my time or money. I run a busy household and the last thing I need is to constantly deal with these silly lights. There's a safety concern as well. I needed some of these for two sets of staircases. I can't depend on these for the safety of my family/guests. Lastly, I purchased the warm white version of these, and they are anything but a soft light. At night from the second floor, I can see the ones (that work) come on like a flash from downstairs. They wake me up they are so jarring and bright. It's like trying to sleep in a night club. For the time being I'm going to keep a few of these up (in closets mainly) and play wait and see. My Spidey senses are telling me that most of these will likely end up going to electronics recycling. I'll report back in a few weeks with my final review (including battery longevity.) *Update 5/8/24: I was wrong. These DO take the paint off walls and in a BIG way. There's no getting around it, they ruin walls. Just so you know. The lights I positioned in JUST the right way do work. I like having them in the basement and certain closets, but I chose to adhere to spaces that WERE NOT painted walls. We just spent the last two weeks repairing/repainting the damaged spots these caused. Will not repurchase. *Diary Entry 6/6/24: I despise these things. The battery life is a month if that. I had three in the unfinished part of my basement. We rarely activate these lights. Needed new batteries after 4 weeks. Don't buy these. Trust me.

Keeps making me think I have ghosts in my apartment
Easy to use. Good illumination. Only issue is that the lights turn on for no apparent reason. I can see them turning on in rooms when no one is there, or from light peeking out under the door closet where I have one placed. I’m not sure if this is normal and I may have to return them if it becomes too annoying (I keep thinking there’s a ghost in my apartment ha)
