Would a xxl fit 44 chest without being too tight

I am not sure if I got a medium or large I must of taken the label off, I ve checked my order when I bought it in 2021 but does nt say the size I bought. I am about a 38-39 chest it fits snug as it a supposed to, it’s very elasticated material similar to those compression tops but not as tight, so I would think a  cal would be ok for a 44” chest, depends if you like snug fit, some one asked before are they loose fit, I said they are meant to be a snug sporty fit I suppose for those with a good muscle tone it shows off your physique if you like that fit, but you can always return it. But as you are aware that’s the biggest size so you could not go up.a size, hope this was helpfull

My chest is 42-43 but unsure what size would be great as XL says 40 inch chest as these seem to be snug fit hoodies?

I got a medium I am about a 38 ish chest and fits nice not to snug like tight on your body,  it’s elasticated and very lightweight and comfortable to wear, I was nt sure about the fit but picked the right size, as the price is not that expensive it would of been a prob if it didn’t fit and was a bit clingy I would just wear it under something so not to show my not so flat tummy lol, but going to buy another one diff colour for next spring, great to wear on those warmer days and keeping cool
